Here in Columbus Ohio I know you guys heard about the twins they took them 4 hours to put out an amber alert on his 5-month-old twins and it's freezing cold and the chief at the press conference said she didn't know anything about it until the next day and then it had more press conferences trying to explain why it took so long when in fact this woman went out of state with these babies left one in the airport on the ground and they found another one in a car it took them 2 days 3 days but it took so long just like you said they don't care about our kids and this proved it

They issue amber alerts for black children all the time here in Michigan. So, when I hear this doesn't happen everywhere, it both angers and saddens me greatly.
There’s Amber Alerts in Texas for all color of children. There’s Silver Alerts for all color of elderly and mentally disabled also. I heard about those missing twins online before any news story but only receive state alerts so wouldn’t have heard about it way down here anyway.

I get Amber alerts on my phone, tv,and, radio here in Douglasville which is West of Atlanta. They're mostly of black children which is sad when any child is missing. We also get alerts for the elderly and those with mental illness. I looked up alerts and never knew so many and the colors for each one. Edit: I will say when I lived in Louisiana my daughter went missing and after giving them a picture and all the descriptions of what she had on they said that they couldn't do anything because of her age .They considered her a runaway! She was 15. She did come home and we called the proper authorities but damn! they didn't even have her listed!! Not a runaway but, another story. I just wanted y'all to know that during Mardi Gras even if you LIVE in the city,they won't look for a missing child or issue an Amber alert. I was besides myself for 3 days.

Salute to showcasing this situation. My best friend is a Black man In Denver, CO. When he went into the Denver PD, to report his children were abducted from his home. They didn’t take a report, even though he was advised the White male officer would, the Denver PD didn’t issue an amber alert, and told him to call the children’s grandfather…a Denver PD Officer. That was in August 2022. He hasn’t seen or heard from his children both toddlers since then. This is just 1 law enforcement department that he contacted. It’s not deemed a crime if it is committed against black folks. They let time expire. There was more attention paid to Hanging with Mr. Cooper at a Springs hotel. His situation was bad. They did one for a 15 yr old here in Southern California last month or so, well they did it an end up killing her along with her dad who killed her mother when she was dropping her daughter off at school, well during the chase her dad was shooting at the police an the teen ran twords the officers unfortunately her dad made her wear tactical gear like a bullet proof vest an a hard hat an the San Bernardino county sheriff killed her along with her dad.. truth be told where the chased ended it could've been way worst because it's usually many people out but no one got hurt besides the father an his daughter who he kidnapped ... I’m from NJ. Very seldom is there an Amber Alert for any child other than children of color. My guess is that this depends on geographic location. It’s a downright shame if law enforcement doesn’t treat any and all child endangerment calls the same. If a child is missing and in danger, the response should NEVER depend on skin color. All children are precious!!!

I’m from NJ. Very seldom is there an Amber Alert for any child other than children of color. My guess is that this depends on geographic location. It’s a downright shame if law enforcement doesn’t treat any and all child endangerment calls the same. If a child is missing and in danger, the response should NEVER depend on skin color. All children are precious!!!

Indeed we (black folks) do need our own Amber Alert! I live in N.Y. and I've only seen 2 that's right 2 black children on TV on the Amber Alert. This has to change NOW!!

I had to call the Milwaukee news stations & send them photos when my 8 year old was taken from the playground after school. Eventually he was found but an amber alert was NEVER issued. They don't care about us

Definitely negligence. There are also well-known cases of not taking seriously the disappearance of white teenagers. Not sure if it's a race thing, but there's definitely a cynical level of negligence.
