Yes its truly heart warming ! Draws you out to want to tread this path. To walk away from the quick sandy relationships that suck you out, and to be in satsang where the seedling of spirituality can breathe easy and try to grow into a stable tree that can withstand worldliness. Oh Ramdass Sir! Wish your satsang was available! At times i feel that it is, bec you have only dropped your body . And , as you are not bound by time or space. So you must be near me. That is the Grace . Thats why im even glimpsing a tiniest bit of Myself.

Haha, RUclips has been playing advertisements for Jordan Peterson during this video. What a contrast, to switch suddenly from Ram Dass' wonderful, melodious speaking to that loudmouthed, braying, belligerent moron. I guess the so-called marketplace of ideas finds it easier to market and sell someone like Peterson than someone like Ram Dass. I know whom I prefer.

This is a great example of how boomer thinking just won't do anymore. There are several places where an almost aggressive obsession became obvious to not consider anything as bad and as if the dissolving of all boundaries is inherently the answer. You can hear how much trouble he has making any of the necessary judgments and therefore immediately compulsively disclaimed or relativized them. I could hardly listen to it. In this context, notice the overuse of the word "game" _(and all the other hippie vocabulary)_ and consider it in light of the extreme suffering that creatures undergo. Of course, he might have labeled my noting this as "my trip" as if that would have any relevance to its truth value.
And yet, this is decidedly _not_ how organic life works. It makes sure boundaries function, such as cell membranes, and are heavily guarded, such as the blood brain barrier. Real organic oneness is more subsidiary and has none of this ideology of simplistic "boundary dissolving". I realize many boomers have gotten stuck in this habit of thinking which is bascially just the reverse ideology to the over-emphasis of distinctions which plagued the generations before them. It was also aggravated by the experience that one has to say yes to and flow with everything that appears during an LSD trip since otherwise you would surely get into trouble. But the result is that the boundary dissolution ideology has become even _more_ destructive in some ways than the boundary cementing one.
In a way, this is a good document of how full of himself he was and how the 60s can no longer help us. And yet, it seemed necessary to get us to where we are now.
RIP, Richard ! I didn't realize you had gone until a few hours ago.
