Nothing to do with the lord,it's dedication to the art and many hours of practice,he's only special because he worked for it,anyone with a passion to learn and become the best they can has the same ability. That's the problem,to many people rely on a mythical being and not putting the work in. If this is the case this I'm off to church Sunday so my playing will improve without having to PRACTICE!!!

On the other hand, could be that going to church on Sunday will give one more humility and appreciation of their own gifting to practice harder.
@@eric2892 it's not evidence it's opinion,to which every one is entitled to,I have no problem with that,it's so easy to throw words around that have absolutely no background or proof to warrant the comment! Whereas practice will show evidence of improvement,I'm not a great player by any standard,mainly because I just enjoy trying stuff and learning songs by remembering them in my head and working out how it's played,I can't read music,I struggle with tabs but I can turn what's in my head into correct note and phrases. I learnt how to play after my mum said I could never do it as I hacked the index finger on my left hand between the knuckles and cut the tendon,I've not bent the tip if that finger since I was 4 and I'm now 62! I'm learning for the love of god by running through the piece in my head and making myself work at it a couple hours a day. I am good enough for me to enjoy it,I've played with a guy from a band who was a mate and did try to teach me to read music,didn't get it so didn't bother and he understood because I'd always learnt from playing tracks over and over til I knew it well enough to 'have a go'. A mythical being is not gonna help and the sooner someone realises the church is a big con praying on weak people it'll never change. My kids all grew up in the real world not an idyllic dream. Ask them,they laugh at you.and we left them to make their own minds up! Rant done,just enjoy our little rock in space and know anything out there is real,except what's planted in our heads!

What a weird thing to say... This boy has dedicated his life to mastering guitar. He has worked tirelessly for hundreds or perhaps thousands of hours to achieve this level of skill. HE deserves the credit, not someone elses name in ALL CAPS. It is not a gift he was given. He has earned it.
Seeing this brings a big smile to my face. It was one of my first big goals to be able to play Canon Rock by Jerry C. Back in 2006. I started playing guitar almost 20 years ago and when I saw the original video in 2006 it blew my mind. Guess what? I learned to play it but I was never as good as you... not even close. I wouldn't be able to play it these days. I'm self-taught and had a lot of time as a teenager but I stopped training and improving eventually (due to the lack of time) and only play the guitar here and there. Please never stop! You are such a great guitarist even at your very young age. 😊

Later, I missed the chance to play guitar because I bought the first guitar in my life. When my sister died for the last time, when I cried in front of her grave, I vowed that I would work hard to play music. Seeing this brings a big smile to my face. It was one of my first big goals to be able to play Canon Rock by Jerry C. Back in 2006. I started playing guitar almost 20 years ago and when I saw the original video in 2006 it blew my mind. Guess what? I learned to play it but I was never as good as you... not even close. I wouldn't be able to play it these days. I'm self-taught and had a lot of time as a teenager but I stopped training and improving eventually (due to the lack of time) and only play the guitar here and there.
Please never stop! You are such a great guitarist even at your very young age. 😊
