Dany is power-hungry from being raised by her crazy brother and being brought up on stories about how the Targaryens used to kill their enemies. 22:37 Jon bent the knee out of guilt and general male T&A. It wasn't about saving the North because, like you said, Dany already agreed to fight. There was no need to bend the knee! The northerners HATE the Targaryens so they aren't going to like that, although they need Dany's help, if she was offering to help without forcing Jon to kneel after her dragon was killed, why bother to bend the knee when no one is asking you to and you know it'll infuriate your people?

The undead can't swim, that was a free license, like going beyond the wall, you simply wait for someone to die on the Wall and wait for them to revive, there is no need for that absurd trip, D&D's rush to leave began with another and they did not have the decency to Delegate. Only one Dragon, the Kindly Queen, tried to cross the Wall and couldn't, another free DD license, and let's not talk about teleportations
i just don't think that Jon is a good warrior. He spends most of his time trying to get killed.
