I can't set the brightness level to show as described in this video from the arrow on drop menu. Could you tell me how else this setting can be changed. My tablet only shows auto brightness level on or off as my option.
A few of these were not in my tab 5se options like putting the brightness slider on top and showing the notification details on the lock screen. It's updated and up to date. Any suggestion?

If you would like to add another G-Mail, Outlook, Hotmail, Yahoo accounts then open up the G-Mail app, then tap on the 3 lines on the top left corner of the screen you will see a menu will open, then swipe down in that menu until you see settings, then tap on settings, there you will see an option which says 'Add Account"

@@dr.drakon3928 unless you have a extremely poor WiFi connection i would not worry its a great tablet but dont expect to play some games on high graphics settings other than that you will be impressed fantastic battery life great screen quality and the speakers are amazing. If you have any other questions let me know. Oh and if you want one i would buy it as soon as because they are going to lock us, all up again and you will find that tablet hard to find because people buy more tablets in a lock down because they are bored and want something to do. Samsung themes or if you install a custom launcher you can customize alot more. I use Nova Launcher, its awesome. Download icon packs and use it with Nova.
Does anyone here know how I can turn off this tablet without unlocking it? It decided to no longer accept my pin and all I have left to try is a hard reset, but I can't manage to do it!!
Let the battery run down to 0, I guess. It will switch off by itself, then leave it plugged into the charger for 1 hour at least, but don't switch the tab on, and you should be good to go for a hard reset.
You'll need to take it to Samsung service center and have them reset the tablet. Unfortunately, it you have forgotten the pass code there is no other way to unlock it except a full reset.
I received a big update on my tab s5e. 740.80mb. The settings layout has changed. It has feature called Labs which is good. I can add a pin option to apps edge panel to keep on the screen as task bar. Settings layout looks like z fold. Some other added features. Also bedtime mode added. Anyone else get this update?
Guys, I need help to get back a feature that I can't use it after I did a factory data reset , Before I was able to control the audio output in my Samsung s5e either for the bluetooth device or the device itself from a button appears when I swipe the notification panel downwards but now I can't 🤦♂️ can anybody tell me what should I do to get it back?????🙏
Does dobles atmos make a difference if you use the one for video/ other different/ settings? because i got a 10.1 inch samsung and didnt know about the different dobles atmos settings and it was on the default dobles.
OK How do you stop this battery percentage flashing up when the tab s5e is charging up? I cant do anything as normal cos it is constantly flashing up all the time, for example it flash up 75% in a whitle circle with greyish background in the middle of the screen and few seconds later it flash up again. Toggling the option 'Show charging information' don't help as I thought it solved it but didnt.
You will need a new USB cable or a charger, it sounds like a loose or damaged charging cable because the exact same thing happened to one of my Samsung phones, it was just the cable going bad. 1. Try plugging the charger into another wall outlet 2. Swap the USB cable out for a new one 3. If it still charges erratically then it's time for both new charger and cable.
How do you change the "Recent apps icon" on the bottom to show your apps the way you had it in your video? My recent apps overlap like flipping an index card - which I hate. I want to change it back to the way you showed in your video...they appeared like small windows lined up top and bottom. I have no idea how I changed my recent apps to look like roledex cards flipping..
Install Samsung's Good Lock app, and then you also need another app within it called "Task Changer". Also, use Quick Star if you want to change the position of the clock (I prefer it on the right).
Do you know if there's a way to turn on and turn off the screenshot option for the power and volume button? For some reason mine won't work and whenever I try to screenshot by holding down the power button and the volume button, it always asks if I want to power it off 😿

Good video! But I would definitely add Good Lock to the list. It's a Samsung app that allows you to move the clock where you want it, change how the recent apps screen looks like... Very useful!
It should work automatically! I have a 3rd party book cover and the screen turns on and off automatically when it is opened and closed. No extra configuration required.

I just got one of these tablets. There is some sort of auto dimming happening that doesn't seem to have anything to do with what I have the settings on. After just a few seconds the screen dims but doesn't go completely off. I've tried tweaking several things to stop it but nothing has worked. Thanks for any suggestions.

That is correct, this tab does not have a vibration module. I don't think tablets come with a vibration motor.

The feature is still there, they have just removed the button, so now it's always enabled by default.

Go to settings then Advanced features, over there turn off 'Wake Bixby with power key' then your tablet will be back to normal.

Mine is stupidly slow
Might be a rogue app slowing the tablet down, I would suggest taking a backup and do a factory reset, that will fix the problem.
