Do you use this at the start or when you need a goal?
@@j.s.4766 from the start. I only use this formation. I was playing the 4-3-1-2 before, but it seems like everyone was static and stationary despite my players having good attacking AI. There seemed to be no movement. it became hard for me to score goals. Now, everyone is moving around, getting into open spaces and giving me options in the middle and out wide.

Been playing fifa for years and years, always watching videos on custom tactics, and this is the best I've ever used by a mile so clever thanks so much Neil 🙏
i find it vulnerable for counters and one silly mistake can be easily punished, in offensive aspect its amazing
Most tactics are vulnerable to counter in FIFA alas, but 3ATB formations like this especially require you to have full concentration and a bit of patience when on defence.
5-4 losing is better than 2-1 losing. At least you can score goal and have fun. If you r casual gamer and dont care about outcome (like me) you should go for it.
The key is to have good defensive lm’s and rm’s. If you don’t have that you will get punished if you lose the ball deep.
I recomand 30 depth
This is really really good. Always passing options through centre. Diagonal runs from LM and CAM once back in possession creates space. Don't have to rush your attack, use skill moves or abuse tactics. 3 WL QF games and 3 rage quits in no time. 30 width and HS is so key. Love this one Neal

This is genuinely the best tactics I’ve come across for years. I’ve always wanted a system that does this. 3 at the back in attack and defends in a 4. I was very close to hanging up my boots before this. Thank you brother sincerely
these tactics are crazy. I was struggling to win a game and in my first game trying these out i was 4-0 at halftime

Neil, please include gameplay with your tactics videos. It's very difficult to visualize how the tactics are supposed to flow with no gameplay
I don't usually leave comments but I must say this. I tried this tactics and it's really impressive. I give it 10/10 on the offensive side. You can create many scoring chances. You must be careful with the defensive side since it takes time till the other players return to their defence location.
I tried it for 7 matches and I got 5 opponents to quit the game before the first 30min. Really impressive 👏. Thnx for the tactics.
And just an extra tip: if you're facing a heavy gameplay just try to reach a team chemistry of 33/33. I'm not joking. I don't know wtf is this relationship between the heaviness and team chemistry. But hey, FIFA LOGIC :)
Yep, agree, moving from 442 the best balanced to the 352 the best attacking is a killer tactic, beware, only a HH defender must move forward to be able to come back fast otherwise deadly counter attacks.

Neil, wow 10/10 formation and instructions. By the way, I am an OG viewier who loved the 4231 with the attacking CB! :) I have literally setup my 352 to defend in a 442 as well, but not with the genius twist that you bring in with the LM and LS swapping positions in defense…insane! Hey I have one question that has always bothered me when setting up the 352 to defend in a 442: arent we basically making our team much weaker in defense as defending in a 5-3-2 with 3 CBs in the box is much more stable then 442? Or do you think 442 is superior in defense because you can press better?

Your midfield gets overrun with just two midfielders. Like you're essentially dropping back instead of trying to win the ball up the field where it's safer to make a mistake
So I have a 4 4 2 and if I switch to this what happens with my rb
i shifted to 352 a week ago to counter 4321 and its been terrific i will try ur tatics now have a feeling it will ne game changing
this formation is so much fun and op. I score at least 2 goals every match. But you need some key players to make this work imo. I feel like you need good passer DMs and most most most importantly very fast and HH right back who can pass. I put mendy to right back only cuz of this reason (I didnt mirror the formation cuz my other players' prefered foots and mendy is 5weak foot). Brilliant job ! this formation and tactics are work of art. supports and runs from both wings are insane.
Is that gold or WW Mendy? Is gold Mendy still good enuf at this stage of the game?
Its ww mendy but there are many options. Look for high speed and HH work rates.

I've tried it and it's awesome, but I also modified for a few games the transition of the ST and LWB, I noticed that you can easily get exposed in the exact time the AI switch players when defending. It's better to only transition the RWB to make it 442... oh and also helps using overlap on the left cb (the one that becomes LB)

Hey man, it took me a bit to understand it but this is probably the best and most effective formation I used. You really need to use the players that are accurate for it but it's incredible.

Tried it and must say, I love the tactics. So much fun.
For the first time, im really impressed on how this tactics work when attacking and defending. Thumbs up to you 👍. I set my left mid to balance instead of stay forward. And my striker to balance instructed of come back on defence. I dont prefer my striker to inter swap with my left mid.
Great tactic, only thing that I find strange is how far back the cam goes on defense, sometimes even further back than the rm/rb

There are 2 problem , my defence is getting red stamina after 80 mins. . And it's getting vulnerable when lose ball at midfield. Any solution? Attacking wise very good
I play this formation in a similar way.
I put the left ST on Come back and also the RM.
Nevertheless, I let the LM and CAM on Balanced.
Then you defend in a 4411.
That's also pretty cool.

How do i switch to 4-4-2? Do i make an ultra defensive tactic with the same instructions and tactics or do i do something else?
Do the tactics still work if you mirror them, so your LB plays LM and RB plays RCB?

This Formation and instructions are 10/10, got 16 wins after only 14 the last two weekend leagues
In regards to the left stroker coming back on defence and lm going foward. Shoukd I play my left mid that I use ( fb Spinazola ) at striker with these tactics and move my striker ( osimhen) to left mid because seems counter intuitive having my striker defend and my wing back play as striker

Just use hug the sidelines with the dpad, same shit but at least the middle of your team stays compact for the triangles between the cam and strikers
The thing with hug sidelines or any other Dpad tactics is that I always forget to switch it off. There’s no indicator that says it’s on/off.
Should you use this for starting or losing or the whole game
I've been using Charles De Ketelaere (the lengthy one) and dear god when he breaks on one of those diagonal runs he is a problem to defend. Feel like a fast lengthy ST is perfect for that role.
U used him as lm in the module?
Can you just inverse all of this, so that the left back turns into your attacking h/h workrate player, and your RB becomes 3rd CB?
is it necessary for rwb to have h/h? Would fb Spinazzola work there?

Hey right now I have a team in the 4-4-1-1 mbappe , neymar lm, xabi Alonso toty icon cm, mane World Cup 92 card cf on no chem, pogba flashback cm , garrincha 92 rm, 85 hernandez Rb , 91 ramos, 87 konate, 88 baby Cafu and 90 schmeichal in net. Whole team is untradeable except mbappe . Also have wc di Maria 8:39 , ww politano, ww trippier. I'm currently running mane on no chem do you think that is fine? Also would it be better to maybe get allison instead of schemical so konate is on full chem? Thanks ! Just don't know what to do with team

i did this same sort of thing but with 4atb formations. i tell my dm to drop inbetween my cb and have my fb's high and wide. so in possession its a 3-2-5 like arsenal and city irl.

Yes when you loose the ball it automatically defends in a 442 and when you are in possession of the ball it switches to 352.
@@akh1589 Thanks. I played several matches and noticed that they were doing this automatically. Really incredible. I had been playing at 352 for a long time and had been suffering a lot. By applying this tactic the team changed completely. Impressive. I arrived these days in the 4 division of Rivals, which for me is a lot.
Now a doubt, what is the reason for us to reverse the attacker with the left winger? I'm using Alvarez for this (my team is 100% Argentine) and he does this function very well, but Icardi takes his place in this exchange and sometimes I think he loses a little attack power, in a faster transition.
For me doesnt work maybe because hakimi and Theo are high/med left me to open. Tried and go Back to my 4321

you say you want two strikers and your cam. try 41212. your dm drop inbetween your cb's and have your full backs high and wide. your 2 cm's can be what ever you want. but you have the natural cam and 2 st in a 3-2-5 in possession shape.
I think you don't get the same diagonal movement when transitioning to attack tho. Have you tried this tactic? Which one dyou like more?

Just tried it, it’s honestly so fun because the other guy has no clue what ur doing 🤣, they think ur playing a 442 and always leave spaces behind. However, it’s kinda tricky to defend with because ur CDMs are high up and the ball can cut ur midfield very quickly but overall quite and the defending in a 442 really helps
Guys hear me out at first defensively it was a bit vulnerable at the start, amazing in attack though, until I put Van Djik at CDM defensively it’s so good for me now

He set the attacking width to 55. But if u want to use hug the sideline, use 30 width. Thats what he said in the video.

I used this and unfortunately, it just doesn't work on the transition. Players are all over the place, and defensively I felt very exposed. The only positive I found was the left and right mid contributing to the attack a lot. Besides that, I wouldn't recommend using this setup

bro imo you need very specific key players to make this work. this does not mean you need "best meta players". if you comment you team Im happy to help
