Hi Steve, I very much enjoyed the conversation. Taking into consideration all of the sonic limitations when creating a RUclips video; the excellent sound quality and imaging of those speakers came through loud and clear. The turntable is pretty amazing as well.

In person it sounded out of this world! I was a little apprehensive to do the video for the reasons you mentioned. I wanted to do right by Neal. Especially after hearing his speakers in person. When I heard the video on my phone I was shocked at how respectable it sounded. I can’t wait to return! Thanks for watching, Mark.

Thanks Steve! What fun to hear Yuko's interpretation of "So What" in Neal's listening room. I have heard and seen earlier models of his terrific speakers and am eager for more. Thank you, Steve, for what you do in support of great analog music. You are much appreciated. --Bob Attiyeh

Hello Bob! It’s been such a pleasure meeting Neal and discovering you and Yarlung Records. You and I are neighbors in two states. We’ve lived in Pasadena for many years. In three years we will be relocating to Taos to begin our semi retirement. Thank you so much for all the amazing analog recordings you produce for our community. Maybe we can meet up one day before I’m in Taos permanently. Thank you again for supporting me and sharing your beautiful work and artists with my subscribers. I will promote Yarlung with every opportunity I get.
      Take care,
      Steve Guerrero

You only have to listen to live bands to know that the music doesn't just get fired out from the front. e.g. Cymbals are completely omni directional and that's why live cymbals don't sound like most speakers with the cymbal sound just spitting out from the front. Of course it's going to sound different. 😅

I’m sure it sounded amazing, open, fast, dynamic with bass response that hits different than traditional box speakers. Thank you for going an extra mile to bring a great content Steve. 👏🏻✌🏻✊🏻

My design is a bit similar, with an open FR driver on top of an omni directional bass speaker box with the woofer firing down onto the floor and mounted in the box as usual. And there is a bass vent slit surrounding the open FR driver on top, and the open driver is angled back a bit for more spread. I took them to the local hifi shop (that still exists) and they went crazy over them. 🎉

For $2k those speakers sound VERY natural, realistic. Great job engineering and building those speakers. Me listening on Elac Debut Reference with tube preamp into 200w class D amp. Elacs are revealing, and many big name speakers sound bad to me even from YT recordings. But these dipoles sounded great! (On my little cheap system...) Thanks for the video.
