Video showing my first encounter with a Fire Giant, who eventually got killed by the sun? I think? I don't know. Was level 9 here and the rest of the bros didn't help much. It's ok though, I discovered I had Phoenix downs by fumbling through my inventory! Still pretty bad at the combat but I've got much better than when I first started. I just don't understand how people are floating around in the air so much, I get one lil flying dodge then Noctis drops like a sack of shit or MP Bursts. Maybe I'm lacking APs? We'll see in a couple of weeks! :D

Yea, the first time I met one, I was wandering around at night low leveled. This guy appears out of nowhere and kills Ignis, Prompto, and Gladio with one sword swing. I hauled ass out of there right away! 😂
The fire giant picked me ( Noctis )up twice, almost die.
I remember going out at night at like level 5 and saw the iron giant and immediately went to the regalia and slept in an rv
I was like: well, that's not what I was looking for.
Trick: stay close to him all night without entering battle. Attack when the night is going to end soon. I defeated the black version at LV 5 in this way.

If you’re wondering, the air dodging is called airsteping and with enough ap you can make it to where you airstep infinity ( when added to the ability that allows you to gain mp upon successful warp strikes). You probably already know that but good tip for any beginners.

I like how in chapter 14 this is the theme that you listen most, meaning that the world is in ruins .
Badass fight! Intense and skilled fighting techniques are being used against the Fire Giant! Applause for this player for making an awesome fight and then recording it! 😉
This is such a great theme. It feels as intimidating as daemons like Red Giants are, at least at the levels you might first encounter them.

Red giants are called "wolframator" (lit.tungstenator) in germany.
i was around level 20 and i was fighting iron golems and i saw this guy pop out and lets say i did not get any where him but something poped up in my pants....

I TOLD YA, DAWG! I TOLD YA BOUT THE NIGHT! Ugh, if you encounter these guys, it's best to run. Abandon the car if you have to, you can get it back later.
IT KEEPS HAPPENING
I jumped when it first appeared, but it's a rightful strong enemy in the game. Perfect addition to the horrors you face when it's night out in this game. I used a chance at one point to fight as many as I could and gain a lot of levels and such in the process. Hard as hell first few times, but worth it for the EXP.
Let's notice how well Promto is doing!
