- For every product category, there is always one company that seems to drive that category. When it comes to gimbals, this is DJI. Innovation meets value with DJI, bringing the most current tech to the masses.
The RS4 & RS4 Pro are no different. While the changes aren't massive, they are important and we'll walk you through what you need to know about the new RS4.

Do you know if this will hold my canon eos R6 with a 100mm macro lens , I’ve been struggling to figure out which will hold my lens . Thank you! I love your videos
Appreciate the insight, thanks for the vid!
Thanks Justin!
Huh. I had no idea this was even happening, but oh my god my RUclips notifications from the embargo lifting.
Great video (as always). Thank you!
Thank you so much, Adam!
Another excellent post.
Thank you TLT!
Hi i dont have a gimble now. So what would u recommend for my mirrorless 2kg setup ? Rs3 or rs4 ... I was waiting for todays launch and saw nothing special that makes rs4 significantly superior... Please rectify me if im mistaken. Im getting offers on rs3 for a discounted price in the market so the difference is around 100 dollars... So what shall i get without the combo pack ? I dont need focus motors
Either would be great, but the vertical video manœuvre of the 4 is great if you plan on shooting horizontal and vertical together, and often.
@@vistek everything I get asked to do is vertical these days, would the RS3 be the best value in that scenario
Self balancing is the holy grail
Hello, I just got my DJI RS4 and love it, but I have a question. Is it normal for the pan axis to have a bit of wiggle when locked(the gimbal is turned off)? I only used it once so I want to know if this is normal or a potential problem. It’s my first gimbal so not sure what to expect. Thanks
Hi there! Yes, the machining isn't extremely precise, because i don't believe it needs to be. If the tolerance is suspiciously large, then perhaps you may want to contact DJI. But short answer, yes it's normal.
Thank you for taking the time to reply, I appreciate it 😊
Thanks for the nice video. This is clearly evolution, not revolution. The next step should be a gimbal that can establish the center of gravity of every camera in its payload range, and self-balance with a press of the button to avoid the tedious manual balancing.
Oh man, that’s the dream!
They still haven't added iso or aperture control via bluetooth so its a no from me, its almost exactly the same as RS3
I don't know if I'd go so far to say it's almost "exactly the same" but I understand where you're coming from.
