Love the Dry X20. Red in .07 is my daily driver. Replaced all of my G2s. Much less bleed. Running the Sarasa refill in my G2 Limited. Fits perfectly. No rattle. Keep the springs with the refills they came with. Don’t swap them.
I've got the Sarasa Dry in 0.5. The black is very deep. The ink dried instantly but having said that, I didn't find it dried appreciably quicker than my Pentel Energels. I like the look of the clip on the Sarasa Dry because it's kinda nondescript without it. On the downside, the pen is a little bit short which means that the clip finds itself sitting in the 'crotch' between thumb and finger. Completely agree that the 0.5 is way thicker than I thought it would be. It's about the same as 0.7 on an Energel. However the pen is not as smooth as the Energel - in fact I found it a little bit scratchy for such a generous amount of ink. It's a good pen, but the Pentel beats it on design, comfort and smoothness in my opinion. Thanks for the reviews - it's saved me a lot of money, otherwise I'd buy all these pens when really there's very little difference between them.
@@bbybellaaa Hi, thanks for the question. I'm not left-handed but I just did a quick test with my left hand and dragged my fingers across as I wrote and could not get it to smudge at all. Quite amazing considering that the 0.5 is quite thick compared to other 0.5 pens in my collection. A lot will depend on your paper too. You won't need expensive notepads, but I'd avoid anything with that sheen you get in super cheap pads.
@@pk417 Hi. Personally, I find the Energel's smoother. They are my favourite gel pens. The Sarasa Dry is not too far behind but even though they are both 0.5, the Sarasa has a thicker line - too thick for my everyday writing. It almost writes like a 0.7 pen.
guys if you want the ink of the sarasa dry buy don’t want the design of the barrel, go check out sarasa speedy it comes with in a .4 and .5 sizes just same with sarasa dry!

would you rec them for people who are left handed? im looking for good quality that dries quickly

Or frankenpen it and put the sarasa refill inside the energel body. Best of both. That's what Ive been doing for years and it's never done me wrong.
