"Hitting is contagious, and right now the Pirates have malaria." XD Yeah, that just about sums it up.
Cutch is the man. He doesn’t have to take the time to shake those kids’ hands - it’s such a little thing - but he DID take the time to make their day. That’s the difference between a man playing a man’s game and a gentleman playing a kid’s game. Straight class, all the way.
He didn’t take time to make THEIR day! He took time to do what he does best-get paid millions by playing a KID’S GAME! He wasn’t thinking about those kids at all while he was playing! Don’t say he’s the man. He DOESN’T CARE AT ALL.
Players like Cutch give kids inspiration, excitement and joy.

It’s now 2024… year 5 of our rebuild of a rebuild, haven’t even been close to .500 any year… and we can barely score 2 runs a game… when he said “you’ll never see this again” he meant it

The pitcher should have been striking out SOMEONE but that entire debacle was on Bryant! AND the manager for not making a change earlier! Sad start to a miserable day for the Cubs.

Bryant's error should have been an inning ending double play at 11:30. Instead... Cubs got annihilated.
JCpatriots he wasn't going to turn two there, maybe an out at first, inning would have went on.
He was thinking turning two by stepping on third and throwing to first, but he took his focus off getting the ball in the glove first and made the error. The pirates took some good displined at bats and had some good hits.
It’s 2022 and most of these players on both teams are already gone from their respective teams.

Hey, the pirates scored 10 runs in the first inning in this game. I wonder if they have ever done that before, while playing on the road against the Phillies, who had one of the worst players in MLB history on their roster, who in that game somehow hit 2 home runs to help the Phillies come back to win even when down by 10 runs in the first. Really makes you think, huh?
