Sometimes pets are victims of domestic abuse. Some people will hurt or kill pets as a way of hurting a person. Anyone who is capable of being cruel to animals is also someone who is capable of being cruel to people.
My family has a mini Pinscher just like these two, his name is Dutch, whoever did this is one cold hearted monster. If you don't want your dogs or cats then bring them to a no kill animal shelter so someone else can adopt them, don't try and kill them. This is worse then people who just take them off somewhere and leave them, at least they are alive, and maybe someone will find them. This way they aren't given a chance at all.

I was thinking myself that if someone who knows the owner of these dogs could see them and recognize the dogs, then call the police and let them know, then they could catch whomever the monster is who tried to kill them. I don't care if they were my family, I think I would still tell on them. I mean the most they will get is a fine probably, but at least the world would also know who they are, and maybe the law can at least keep them from owning anymore animals. People who have killed animals like this, also tend to hurt humans as well.
