    3:06 really explained how crazy T1 is. JDG did everything "correctly" in that fight: building the wall, isolating Oner, holds drake pit position in a horizontal formation, and Ashe tried to pick with ult... were all "correct" actions in that situation. However, against T1, playing the "correct" move is simply not enough anymore. They know the "correct" gameplay way too well, and they will outplay you if you don't reach higher level.

    • @YuYuYuna_
      @YuYuYuna_ 9 месяцев назад +1

      JDG didn't do everything correctly to be fair.
      Knight placed the taliyah wall but then, for no apparent reason, just decided to not use taliyah E on the ground in front of rell. Taliyah E stops all dash and Rell W is a dash. If he uses taliyah E there Oner cannot engage even with using flash to try and close the gap as taliyah E is too long to flash in a line past it. The fight could have played out much differently, maybe T1 still wins, maybe they don't. JDG's knight absolutely misplayed there though.

The only role Faker had was to deny Mid push, which he did fairly well, and he got to have some fun on Akali in the final game. He may not have fully 1v9'd the final, but there wasn't a need to. All he had to do was keep even, shotcall for the team, and they got to waltz away the World champions. Faker still did it for his team, against the best midlaner the LPL has ever produced, with the 2nd most international games only behind Faker himself, so I still say he did it for his team, even if it's no longer in his 1v9 pure dominance mode from a decade ago

    2:18 I also want to point out Gumayusi's excellent read and teamplay here
    He could've flashed right after Knight flashing through and secured himself a safe position away from MISSING and Knight but he baited himself to make Knight focus on him instead of getting Oner targeted + setting Oner up for a W knock up if Knight continued chasing. Then instead of greeding his W, he waited out until Knight ran in a predictable path and combo'ed it with Oner's Q while still keeping close attention to MISSING's movement and read his WQ precisely.
    And shortly after that, we could see, once again, Gumayusi's patience waiting out Knight's W, juggling at Akali's max Q distance on shroud's edge to bait Knight into revealing himself (Gumayusi also placed a trap into the bush in case Knight tried to be sneaky but there was a ward inside the bush so I couldn't tell if it was a genius move or he just kinda winged it)

    • @4thsin098
      @4thsin098 Год назад

      @@AtumassadoCompaoIf my guess is correct, MISSING forgot to account for Bard's E versatile use so he was trying to wrap around and pressure Guma into Knight but since Keria repositioned 2 T1 members onto the other side, MISSING couldn't decide if he should commit and pick Oner or wrap around and try to pressure Guma into Knight again. In the end, he had to burn flash into Guma or else he would've allowed Guma to freely deal damage on his team from a safe distance.
      And there are 2 reasons why I think MISSING gave up the chase. One is that he burned all his abilities as you can see him running around with Phase Rush, that'd also explain Faker's decision to insta tp near MISSING. Second is that the fight was favoring JDG a lot. If that Bard portal wasn't in the equation then they would've gotten Oner and protected Ruler from Faker. Unfortunately, as you can see, Bard is such an alien concept in the pro scene that they didn't expect Keria to split the team fight like that and put MISSING on a dilemma, hell, they even made Kannavi and Ruler accidentally clicked on the portal, that should be a clear sign that they weren't used to fighting against a Bard and Keria abused that to his advantage.

Like both of the carries he jumped on had flash and if they reacted fast enough or if faker was a little later and didn't layer the cc that play gets oner killed and they lose dragon. I feel the main reason it worked was the classic walk away flash towards. You feel like your gaining momentum in a moment and the next the enemy champ says "react".
