I was using 613 , and it would work. It wasn’t a clean cut though. I didn’t know they made a cut rod . I taught myself to weld when I retired at 65 yrs old . Hobby .
Yes I've saw the cutrodes and the price, and laughed. Some ppl will go for fried Ice cream. Walked away knowing that my grandpa who was an old time ironworker, taught me how to cut metal to a line with a red lincoln 5p 6010. Works best if you dip the rod in water and sling it off. Won't win no blue ribbons, but it'll get the job done.😃 God bless

I've always seen people use the 6010 rods, i didn't know there was a "cut rod"
