Diablo IV is an upcoming dungeon crawler action role-playing game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment, the fourth title in the Diablo series. The game was announced at BlizzCon 2019 on November 1, 2019 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. In June 2022, it was announced for a 2023 release, including PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Series features such as re-playable, procedurally generated dungeons, and loot-focused character-building are returning, while new features such as an open world, and player versus player (PVP) interactions are incorporated. Five playable classes have been announced - Barbarian, Sorceress, Druid, Rogue, and Necromancer - all of which have appeared in the series. Players guide their character through quests and combat in the world of Sanctuary as the once banished Lilith returns to wreak havoc.

@@coltonlohner7971 plenty of people these days just buy what's trending without doing any research or having played the other games. Many people played The Witcher 3, Fallout 4, Persona 5, Elder Scrolls Skyrim. Without knowing anything about the previous games. I'm sure some people saw that trailer and pre-ordered it.
@@mattryan5706 well said I never played the old ones but did a bit of research and it did look by the advertisement that it would be so much more. Sadly it's ps2 graphics at its best and the performance it's demanding is crazy idk how or why

Is it just me or is the voice acting horrible/comical in this game compared to the previous installments? So monotone (lack of emotion) and I could have sworn there was one voice being used for a few NPCs just from this 15 mins of gameplay. The shoddy TV commercial advertising Diablo IV (which looked like someone did some backyard Cosplay) didn't do this Blizzard game justice either. But at least the gameplay looks like a true Diablo style game and worth giving the game a shot for those of us that like the Diablo storyline and grind for equipment and items.

You'll have a better time with Grim Dawn, Path of Exile, or even EA games like Last Epoch. Diablo 3/4 are insults to the legacy of the franchise.

Nothing knew since Diablo 2 for in game mechanics and strategy. Graphics are almost the same as Diablo Immortal, which is free to play in the IPhone.
I thought it would be like God of War or something.. I’m not in the 90’s anymore which was a beautiful era.. but.. that era has gone.

Longtime Diablo fan here. I've put thousands of hours into Diablo 2. Probably a thousand hours into Diablo 3.
You can only make a dungeon crawler so dynamic. I just don't think there is anything gripping enough with D4 to keep the average players coming back.
Click, click, click. Spell/ability 1,2,3,4,5. Only 2-3 cookie cutter builds that are really effective. Repetitive content that just blurs together at a certain point... Grinding for endgame gear that makes your character incrementally stronger, and a slightly more effective killing machine. Until the next level cap drops and then you repeat the same process of grinding and hitting the same wall for a little extra recycled content.
And let's not forget about the heavily monetized features that I'm sure Blizzard will implement. They know their most loyal fans will open their wallets

I actually thought I was getting it wrong, I had to search for several Diabo 4 videos to make sure I wasn't being pranked. This genuinely looks like something from late 90s, early 00s

love diablo immortal, you can grind without paying a cent, understand why this game is hyped, the existing fan based would love to play it. but not for me, i guess i stick with the mobile version for now

This is for pc and some of the consoles i think.
It’s on console and pc. It’s isometric so that’s probably why it looks like a mobile game. That’s the only reason I’m considering not buying it. I hate isometric graphics.

Diablo was easier to play like this with a mouse and keyboard thats why the original diablo was fun. Seems weird to play like that with a controller. They should have made it regular 3rd person or something. Im not buying it

I played the original on release as well as the second. Fourth act looks like it but with sightly better graphic.

@@wicked1rish I would not play a game that is boring to watch. When I see someone playing an interesting game I feel excited, and I'd like to try it. This game is missing the focus. Everything is dark, unlike in d2 where you had the light radius, it had the feeling of darkness but also you could clearly see what is around you. Monster sounds are overwhelming, music is also way too generic. Voice acting is terrible and missing the tale telling character. Boring!

This looks way too easy to be fun. I see no challenge. Original D3 was incredibly difficult. Then everyone complained. They patched it so you van walk through D3 and beat the "gsme" in a couple hours, rushing you to end end game.
I'm guessing this will be the same garbage -- a game.designed for endgame material. This won't be the "diablo 2 but improved" gsme true fans wanted d3 to be. It will just be another load od crap where any toddler can walk into a room and spam buttona until everything dies..Ni schill. zmo strategy.
