I have about 7 Nebos and they've been good to me, never failed or fallen apart. I also have their 2k Slydeking and always wished they woukd make a more powerful SlydeKing design. Now they have the 4k model. I also have 2 5k DaVinci and q2k DaVinci. They've been good but I can see Nebo has been experimenting with design features. One 5k DaVinci has a smooth barrel while the newer 5k has a paneled non slip grip barrel. The older DaVinci on off. Button doesn't have a positive click on button but thr newer DaVinci does have a positive click on button. Both have their power on buttons on the tail switch. Not a good place when using a Harris Technique handling a flashlight while aiming a pistol. Th3 12k DaVinci moved thr power button to right behind the bulb compartment where ir shoukd always be. That way you can hold it and manipulate the on off woth your finger as well as controlling it while using the Harris Technique.

Sounds as if you ran into some systemattic dudes. It happens man no sh@t. Take my brother in-law for example. He had to buy 3 Fenix tk 2.0 's before he received a non defect. You might ask but why did he keep going especially after round 2 & that would be a fair & valid question indeed. The answer & his reasoning was because his copilot had one & it worked perfectly & he liked that specific flashlight. Fenix made it right each time just as nebo typically does from what I hear. Me personally. I've never had an issue with any nebos I've bought. Same with Fenix. I did have to return an olight once & they to made it right. All that say, best of luck.
