So thankful I’m not the only one, burn out, toxic workplace, underpaid and overwhelmed from over booking has made me take a step back from vet med. I feel guilty and like a failure but I needed a break with all the anxiety and stress that created health issues for me. Thank you for sharing this video, I really needed someone who relates ❤ wishing you healing, growth and happiness!! 😊

Girl- same. I’ve been in vet med for 7 years (off and on) and just have realized there is something about it that is so depressive.

Can I ask what the update is? Did you go back to it, or no? I have mental health issues, am an RN and interested in Vet Med, but not sure I could handle it mental-health wise.

I am back, but as a receptionist, not a tech anymore. It’s been better for me, though I still get pretty burnt out, especially when I encounter nasty clients for days in a row. But so far, I am happy that I’ve come back.

Sending hugs. I’m currently struggling also.
