Stan Laurel did not perform after Ollie's death, he was grief striken and the history remembers he continued to write sketches for Laurel and Hardy until his death, just as a token of love and respect for his lost friend. When he past away, his last words were:"I'd rather go skiing than do this".

Laurel and Hardy were and will be the comedians of all times. Nobody can reach their standard. Many learned from them. Stanly was the master mind behind all the comedy pieces. What a genius. The life long mutual respect and love between is so amazing.

Such kind hearted comics. I played one of their shows for my 6 year old granddaughter, Lyra. It was hilarious watching her watch them. She could not stop laughing and even began mimicing them. She kept saying, “Oh no! Here they go again.”
