very nice clarity , and note seperation , sounds alive , not dull or lifeless , and not to fake sounding, like somany digital rigs , and great playing by the way
1) For sure, the hairbands do not act as a capo. It's used to mute the strings and give her a cleaner slapping/tapping sound 2) The Yamaha is stock. It is the most high-end TRB one, so it comes stock with the individual saddle bridge 3) Great playing by Ida!!!
@Specialroos77 That "bridge" is just her hairband used to dampen the strings playing them open.... That's a TRB 5PII exactly like mine and I can tell you it's very far from "thin"
wow damn that's some mighty fine bass playing on some pretty sweet ass gear can't wait to get the new staccato combo what's up with wrap around the neck by the headstock? anyone..just dampining or what?
I'm a guitarist and the bassplayer in my band has a good slapping technique, and I always wonder how that triple slap kinda percussive "didididid" is done -like at 0:38, how does she do that? What part of her hand or fingers is quickly hitting the strings? Aside from that I don't know how much I like the amps but her playing is pretty damn sick.
Yeah OK - it looks like a hairband though. Maybe she simply has to short arms ;-) It is also seen here at the end of the video watch?v=vixII8hXAfc .Anyway I'm pretty sure her TRB5PII is totally stock ... NICE bass
i really hate the way the staccato sounds. I am a huge TC fan. i love all of their stuff. and i'm not saying the staccato is bad... i just don't like it at all. i love the 450 though.
Beautiful ! The sound, the bass, and the lady !!
Incredible groove.
And she is so beautiful..
@Omar Maxton didn't understand...sorry
very nice clarity , and note seperation , sounds alive , not dull or lifeless , and not to fake sounding, like somany digital rigs , and great playing by the way

The Beautiful Ida Neilson in da house.
Ida Nielsen* She is not Swedish but Danish.
Great sounding head need to get one. i wonder how it would work in a rock band.
I've played bass for about 7 years. This chick loves her funk. It'd be awesome if I could ever go on stage with a lady like her.
Well, you'll have to change instrument then. Try drums :-)

I'm a bit different, i would go with Ida :)
❤❤❤❤❤❤
great player !
I'm in love
The RH450 has more grit/punch to it compared to the Staccato to my ears, where the Staccato is a bit brighter and perhaps mid-scooped.
@GiantPandas Yep figured that - a novel yet very economical application but hey i don't have enough hair for a scrunchie!
tal wilkenfeld vs bassida????? bass battle...who wins?
im in love..!!
Maybe a Yamaha TRB5PII?
this is Ida Nielsen ... ??
Wow she can really play bass, I mean, for a girl and all ...? Seriously super cool funky feel 👏👏👏
Gorgeous, Funky Bass players are hard to come by...
@HackerGuitarist yeah, it's kinda subtle.maybe i got good speakers.
there´s nothing cooler in this world than seeing a lady play the bass
amen
Awesome bass ladies she cold fr
The Staccato has notably more treble, and a tighter bottom end, but to my ears a bit weaker in the Mids, great for slap and some metal stuff!
ohh my!!
lol if you look on the Staccato'51 the tube ton is up more then the RH 450 so its going to sound diffront
i love u,,,so talented,,,
@MajorImpact and the correct way would be "stack-atto" :p
It's an Italian word.
And it's STACCATO, two 'c', one 't'.
@@younicbic I was telling him how to pronounce it, he already knows how to write it.
@hymanpena its called love
