You know what’s sad about DMC’s Dante? Ninja theory actually made Dante more like Virgil. His original design had a noble like look replete with a monocle. He was going to have a comically confident and reserved personality to offset the bombastic over the top personalities of the villains. Capcom execs didn’t want this as they were trying to appeal to Western audiences. They told them to redo Dant’s design and we got what we got 🤷🏿♂️
