🐝Thanks for the great video🌻 wow you making some great progress
Thank you
Oh jeez the weather is just brutal over there. Wind is a beast it can move mountains 😢. 🎉🎉 food in the ground 👍. Doesn’t it smell fab when you dump the bag out 🤭. You are sticking with it and that’s what counts. Potatoes will be fine and good on Sophie 😍. Have a fab week ahead and stay safe, Ali 🥶🌞🇨🇦
Ps not sure about the tater mounds I just do in pots so I always top them up but that just me not cause I know ought 😅😅
Yea we have had it all the past few weeks hail, rain, sun and wind just need it to clear. So glad we are getting stuff planted now even if it is one bit at a time. I am more used to growing them in bags too and normally just main crop. Thanks have a good week too
Formidable vidéo
A bientôt
I don't know if you can get a ladder to your spot, but that is what I would have done. Id climb to look at the gutter and clean it out. (compost feed) and then you will get cleaner water.
I have great confidence that this will turn into a magical place for you and your family. Good luck!
I should be able to get a ladder there that gutter is probably full of leaves.
Thanks you I really hope I can turn it to a magical place
Everything is coming aling! Seedlings look great. I can't wait to see it all complete. Stone paths will be nice!
It is slowing coming. I can't wait for it to be completed. Just needs to warm up for the seedlings to take off and it's just not heating up
Have you seen the Squash Arches? People grow squash and even pumpkins on arches 😱🎃.
I have seen them with the small pumpkins. Emma's allotment plot did one. And I have seen a self sufficient me do it with large ones would need a few arches for the big ones. Might give it a try
Looking good, adding old coffee grinds is a good way to keep snails and slugs away. keep at it your doing a great job, have a good one👍
Thanks think if I get more coffee I will add some to beds I make too see if it works
Awesome! I'm gradually adding coffee grinds to my planters as and when we make coffee. I too have heard it's a good deterrent for slugs but also adds nutrients to the soil 😊.
Same here I do the same, coffee grounds are great a great source. I put in my compost too
Great job planting! Hopefully, sunny spring is upon us! ♡
Hopefully but it has been bucketing down up here. I just want the sun 😭😂
I mound my Charlotte's. You get a much better crop 🙂
Thanks will try that
Coming along nicely mate
Thanks mate
Wind is ruthless mate!!!!
It's been crazy past 2 year I have never known anything like it
For earthing up your spuds - check on the variety. Just like toms you get determinate and indeterminate varieties. Determinates don’t usually need earthing up, these tend to be 1st earlies. All the others need earthing- hope this helps 👍
Thanks I know my main crop will it's my 2nd earlies I wasn't sure about might give them a little and see how it goes thanks
Charlottes are determinate I think so won’t need earthing up. What you could do though is earth up part of the way, then plant another seed potato between the ones you’ve just planted but on the earth mound and earth up again to cover. Double the potatoes as they only grow on one layer so won’t interfere with the original ones
@@fraserwilson227 thanks I thought they might be. I only learnt there were two type like this year I thought you always earthed up all potatoes
@@fraserwilson227 that is a brilliant idea! 👏👏
Great video
Thanks
