I am an 18 year old boy. My hair is always dry. I always apply coconut oil in the bath and I don't use any shampoos.Still the hair is very dry. What should I do??
Lets of problems here 🥲 not using shampoo and still using oil is the same as applying oil on hands and then not washing it with handwash. Also same as not washing a utensil used coated with lots of oil but not washed. Both seem yucky right? How will the grease remove? Same for hair.
Why aren’t you using shampoo? Using soap isn’t recommended for hair and scalp as the pH of soap is quite alkaline for hair and scalp. Plus you are not cleaning sweat, dirt, grime but adding more grease in the form of coconut oil.
You dont have to buy an expensive or fancy shampoo just any gentle/moisturising shampoo. Also instead of coconut oil use a hair cream in very small amount on wet/damp hair. Creams already have oils so you are getting the benefits of oil there. Oil however has just oil - no water, no water retaining ingredient, no hydrating ingredient. On top of that oily layer attracts a lot of dust and smells pungent after sometime
Curl cream or mousse ? What about men ? Do men exist ? No one talks about men's needs.
Are you for real? Are you human being? Do you have curly hair? Do you live in India and have analytical ability and access to online marketplaces? If all answers are yes then what makes you think ‘men have different needs’ when it comes to curly hair? The products are gender neutral, the method of washing, styling is gender neutral. Its a quick routine for anyone with wavy or curly hair. Everything is clearly mentioned…whats your point? This is not a ‘mens needs’ channel this is self-care related channel. If you feel this is for me and my lifestyle, you are free to follow 😇

Bache curly hair to zadatar dry hi hote hain especially agar unka khyal na rakha jae😇 products decide hote hain ye dekhke ki baal coarse hain ya fine hain. Aur kabhi bhi koi pura range ek tarah ke balo ke lie nahi bana hota. Mix and match karke use karna sahi rehta hai. Isilie to main har product ke lie batati hun kis tarah ke baal ko suit karega kisko nahi karega

I wont recommend daily until absolutelyyyyyyyyy necessary but alternatively yes. However do follow the dos and donts i shared at the end to avoid buildup

Hello dear, I have colored my hair for the first time. So using loreal professional shampoo, mask(as conditioner) and serum. They still work to keep my curls. The cast is pretty good from this mousse if you use quantity like I did. Medium we can say but yes a prominent cast. New Curl Up gel - quite thick and cast is strong but I think hold wise older ULTRA DEFINING GEL is better

Hey, always apply stylers from root to tips (not scalp but hair around roots) so that even baby hair is as tamed as rest of the hair. While styling make sure you are making clumps from roots itself. Use comb for that. Brushes often cannot pick such small hair due to their large size
@@desicurly Yeah , I tried that way but still many flyaways as I do not like my hair to leave sideways like u but only backward. Just want to re - confirm as I thought reverse manner all these days...Brushes are the ones which will pick every hair ryt ...and normal wide tooth combs will not pick flyaways ryt ? Hi, I am not sure what products from curl up you are using (please mention them) but it totally depends on your scalp type as to what it can tolerate and what it cannot. Like I have seborrheic dermatitis(dandruff) and I cant use cowash for two consecutive washes. I have suggested such dos and donts in the video itself💖
Also during monsoon and very humid season avoid changing hair products frequently because anyway hair sheds lot more and changing products frequently make it seem like that’s what is causing them.

Hi! Yes you definitely can use it. But if hair feels dry or isnt clumping well then its recommended to use some creamy leave-in conditioner OR curl cream before mousse

Hi, you can follow the same routine as curly hair. Just get one curl cream OR leave-in OR mousse. You can start with just one styler and your existing shampoo and conditioners. Dont have to change the whole product shelf to maintain wavy or curly hair
Apply the styler after shampoo + conditioner while hair is still wet, make clumps with hands or brush (like I have shown in most of my videos) and then scrunch. Let it dry. Thats it

Hi Deepika , which gel suits better for thick hair with medium to high density & low porosity curly hair ...is it strong hold gel or light gel or which brand best suits...pls suggest
Hi again Manasa, like I suggested in previous video it doesnt matter what porosity or curl pattern you have. I have high density 3b curls and I can use all types of gels by tweaking the quantity- advantage of having hair strands that are medium - neither thick nor fine.
For fine hair soft to medium hold works better
For coarse hair strands stronger hold works better.
You can try curl up ultra defining gel or ashba defining gel (slightly more qty required) or alldoer gelly since these have strong hold
But if your hair is fine then you might need lighter hold gels instead of above suggested ones

No shade to the doctor but a well read doctor will never say ‘chemical products’ or ‘curly girl products’ dont take their advice with regards to hair care. Neither its part of their coarse nor they want to learn - atleast not most of them.
You should continue your haircare while treating the cause of excessive hairloss - low ferritin. Take supplements as suggested by the doctor and improve your diet. Also increase protein consumption especially if you are a vegetarian. Body has its own cycle of shedding and growing. Once the deficiency is under control the excessive shedding will reduce and hair will grow on its own but this will take some months and consistency

No it cant be due to anything you use on hair and not hair. SD can happen anytime to anyone because it happens due to microbial imbalance which is highly internal. Check my videos i made on this topic. There is also a playlist for scalp care

Curl up ultra defining gel, Ashba Custard, Alldoer Gelly, manetain hard hold gel. Make sure to apply a leave-in or curl cream before strong hold gels as they can be sometimes drying

Hi, have talked about it in the video please do watch ♥️ roz hair wash recommend nahi hai agar avoid ho sakta h to avoid karen. Also during swimming, cap is a must according to premises rules as well as to protect hair from high chlorine in pool water. Buy a bigger one from CURLY MISSY and you wont need to wash hair

Hi! Oily scalp - yes only if you are washing everyday for any reason. But like I said at the end only cowashing will be problematic especially if one has oily scalp and fine hair. Alternating with shampoo is highly recommended

Hi! Thats a problem when we have tight curl pattern. Hair will shrink because its curly but you can control that by 1- not using any brush for styling just using hands to make clumps like I did in this video 2- dont scrunch hair at all! At no point should you be scrunching if you dislike shrinkage.

Bare anatomy hair serum is a good one. However Low porosity is not a hair type or a deciding factor when buying products. It just means cuticles are intact and thats why hair is healthy. That’s all

If I want moisturising effect but strong hold as well should I opt for ashba mousse? How many washes will this mousse last? Since you were using it quite generously 😅
Yes if you want even stronger hold then ashba mousse has stronger hold. Mousse looks like its being used generously but its not (because the liquid is converting to foam much like how shampoo also becomes foam). And mousse should be used like that if being used as one and done but also depends on ones hair length and density.
This mousse would last me 10-15 uses on my short medium-high density hair I believe. Earlier I was using on my long hair but now on short hair so lesser amount would be needed than earlier

Hey I dont think the brand sells in USA but US is hub for curly hair products. So many options♥️ you can get AS I AM cowash or Curlsmith cowash instead and a mousse. I haven’t tried mousse from US brands as far as I remember but there are great options definitely. I am sure you will find good ones

About the hairmask - i have used it fortunately and its not a conditioning hair mask which means it doesnt overly soften hair like hair masks are supposed to. So if you have fine to medium width strands then you can use it on all washdays because its not going to overly soften curls(that’s problematic). But if your hair needs to be properly intensely softened after shampoo then you should be using another conditioner or mask instead of this one (most days) or follow up with another conditioning product after this mask.
As for protein product - this term doesnt make much sense. A hair mask is supposed to soften and repair hair in general but all are not made same. Right? This stands true irrespective of how many protein or what protein they have. If that product makes hair very soft then the effect of protein would be negated (kind of). Protein molecules and conditioning ingredients work in same manner - by coating hair superficially thus smoothening down rough cuticles. But conditioning ingredients also make hair very very soft. Thats the difference.
So always decide upon products based on their softening ability AND your hair’s softening needs.
