That isn’t a gtr or so it’s probably an rb25 is he got a turbo model. They came with a bunch to different engines. The skyline model had a pretty huge range. Everything from a na rb20 to to the monster rb26 and i believe nismo made a rb28, I know in Australia they had rb30’s also.
Ls swap while not jdm is a great way to save weight, improve weight distribution, increase torque especially at the low end, increase reliability, and make more power easier, but it wouldn’t work with any awd system though we don’t knew if his is one of like 6 different awd skyline models. While I love the smoothness of an inline 6, and think Nissan rivals if not made a better i6 than bmw, at the time, and in turbo applications, the LS engine is so great. Most of them don’t rev that high and there isn’t a ton of room in the R chassis to add twin turbos on the side. If I was track racing again, and especially for endurance or long races I might pick an ls, less heat, less weight, simpler design, lower and further back weight balance, lots to low end torque. But I’m a guy who likes to keep things original or at least as original as possible. I think the 500ish range is the sweet spot for RB’s for power and reliability.
Sounds like the trans might be beat to shit, when they start to shit the bed the clutch is usually one of the first things they try to replace to fix it, and clutch dumping a pressure clutch isn’t terrible as long as it’s been broken in.
Just take some 600 grit sand paper and gently scuff the friction material, and get the flywheel and plate resurfaced at a machine shop for like 75 bucks
After-hanging the transmission on that clutch disc like that I'm sure that got tweaked and now has micro cracks in the clutch material..... Exedy Litterally has a picture infographic in thier instructions warning of this....

Can we talk?! I would love to buy this from your hands, I am from Canada + I work in Oilfield. So I can definitely give you some moola if wanted. (Even if you clutch dumped it.)
You may have clutch dumped it but I'm pretty sure that's the purpose of a high performance clutch
The sheer amount of aggressive clutch dumps my 300 k Corolla put up with is mind altering
He means likely during break in period.

Soak it in CLR, done it plenty of times a can of brake clean even works bro.
Prying off a pull clutch with the fork still engaged... jesus christ.
Explain plz.... I'm curious
This whole video made me upset
Dude says GTR but it's a GTT 💀
Where did he say GTR
If Ryan Garcia was a mechanic 😂😂
😂😂😂
Rip clutch 💀
it'll be fine
No
It’s fine lmao
Feel that bro especially cause those clutch ain’t on hand they specialty ordered
At least you clutch dumped a clutch that’s made to handle it
Any skyline would be fine for me
Cool project!
When u say upgrade u better mean rebuild(or better yet have it done)and reinstall. Pls don't do something u will regret like LS swap it
K swap 👀👀

@@chrisjosekuehlyeah but at that point just LS swap something way cheaper

Not required
And if you did you would use emory cloth
@nzuncovered1845 why emory cloth? Sounds like a good way to leave fibers stuck in the friction plate, thus causing more issues.
An R34 is an R34, pretty damn lucky to have one lol
In America skyline is cheap but in Malaysia it's hard to afford...😂
I personally like Mercedes. But I admit reacting the same way to AMG parts
W clutch dump
Clutch worth more than the car 😂
“Neez-mo”
I cannot stand stuff like this... Same with "Egg" and "Aeg" I swear people always put an a in egg for no reason..
His reaction 😂
I got my R34 GTR coming soon can’t wait
thought it was ryan garcia at first
Cheapest and coolest
The skyline that you bought is not a gtr its a gtt 👍
Good eyes man guy
He never said what submodel, just that its an r34 skyline. R34 being the generation, skyline being the model.

I was about to buy it man but then you bought it :(
Clutch has been through it. Replace it and everything else involved with the job
Don’t be a shade tree guy and re-use the pilot bearing 😂
Can’t say you bought the cheapest R34 and not say how much it cost.
Buddy has one of these, we drove it to AZ-SD and got bored on the freeway & had an extra steering wheel so we did the Mr. Bean prank with a few people 😂 almost made one guy crash so that was enough of that
Me and my homies love maxx
I know the plan was rebuild, but that dig in a neglected car. 😭
You just used it like it was supposed to be used
Well i mean it dunped it for sure lmao
Hey was that a brand new clutch? Want to know for sure.
I thought this was Ryan Garcia
Are you Rayan Garcia brother ? 😂
Great gob on the car bro🔥
Dont worry ive neutral launched honda transmissions and they dont give up😭
It’s a clutch man
Hinziehen würde ich auch nicht, aber hassen ist ein starkes Wort… und seine Argumente sind auch fürn Bobbes
Is that a gtst gts-25t or a GTS bc that ain't no gtr
Nismo work!
It had a engine in it, it was prolly 15k
That's a gtt, not a gtr. But the only major difference is rwd vs awd. If you want a car to skid, then a gtt is cheaper and better
Sell it and get that tash removed 😂😂😂
I wouldn’t have admitted to clutch dumping 😆
Not a problem for that setup.
Or what if .. its a Nismo Skyline converted over to a baseline Skyline lol.
The beard is real right?? 😂 I just couldnt tell.
What the hell's a control arm bushing?
It’s 30yrs old, really unlikely it’ll be running a stock clutch
Well?!?!?! How much??
Nismo is a stock clutch for the skyline dingle dork
It's not though.
Looks brand new because thats wats its made for ive literally made performance parts literally go bad due to not using them properly lol
Woww, mustache
Doesn't mean it's cheap R34 inside the hood first when you buy a car engine first not the body
Oh no I clutch dumped a with a high performance clutch that was made to do this stupid crap oh noooooo 😂😂
Nice
song name?
1300 for a clutch 😂 rookie numbers
I think it's brand new guys
Bruh what happened to Ryan Garcia? 💀
Bro bought that for 200k
No mines the cheapest..ask my wife it was a steal😊
Thats a gtt not a gtr😢
Niiiihhyyeesmmmoooo
Noicee
How much Yu buy it for I want one or a r35
Do more clutch dumping content then talking . Trust.
I mean if there’s any clues that could handle a drop it’s a nismo one
They are just Exedy clutches rebranded. Nismo don't make clutches
Is that a GT-T
Y?
Nice personally I would put a body kit on it and add a 2jz turbo pushing 1000 hp
What…
No just get an RB30 block and a huge single turbo.
yuck
Its nismo it can take a clutch dump, I wouldn't spend 1200 on a clutch that couldnt take that abuse
How cheep it was?
How much is the cheapest R34 skyline in America because I’m going to go out on a limb here and say it wasn’t cheap at all.
Yeah how much was it?
I could be wrong but i think the gtr comes with a few nismo parts but like i said i could be wrong
No worries its not a GTR.
Go NA for now then slap a turbo
Is not nismo it's NEESMO I guess
Bruhhh😮 it's a gtt😂
A ver, quiero ver tu GTR 😅
Seems like failed project car or he couldnt do it no more

Should you be working on this car if you don't know the factory clutch is a pull-type clutch?
You're going to break shit.
That's how you learn!
Hey! At least it was a trash clutch. Now you get to upgrade!!!
VH45DE in there
What do you call cheese????
Oh boy
Not new after you did that lol
Yeah 10th clip this month 😅
C A P😊
Upgrade plsssss
Said neezmo
Perfect for an LS swap 😂
bro u don't look good with that moustache
That mustache 👎🏿
Gtt not gtr
An it junk

Im confused. Nismo is nissan.
That’s clutch don’t look anything like new bro needs his eyes checked look good for a couple more miles tho just not new😂
