Yankees Aaron Judge & Juan Soto are the GREATEST duo EVER

  • The Yankees won 8-1 against the Guardians in a game that saw plenty of good after a heartbreaking 12 inning defeat the night before. There's a lot of good to take away. Nestor Cortes was fantastic, the lineup looked good on paper and we got some news on reinforcements. Gary and Jake break down the game and whether or not Aaron Judge and Juan Soto are the best duo in sports.

What makes this show great is Sheff has the pedigree to stand strong on his opinions and not worry about sponsors, ESPN, Yes, or being on a podcast with an ex major leaguer. So he can have honest takes without shock jock filter.
And Jake is that smooth analytical mind who is so intelligent ...this is just the perfect combination.
Applause to you both & continued success.

Luis Gil going on the 15 day injured list might be a blessing in disguise. It helps reduce Gil's total innings load, it gives a chance for the Yankees to see if Will Warren, Clarke Schmidt, and Cody Poteet could help the starting rotation for the rest of the season, and like John Smoltz, going from starter to closer and back to starter, Luis Gil might be able to help in late inning reflief only for the last few weeks of this all in for Soto 2024 season and playoffs, and then have Luis Gil return as a starter next season in 2025,

Pitchers are realizing that wells is a dangerous hitter. The only person that could stop judge in maybe having a chance to get to 63 homers is…..Boone and his crazy lineup setup.
