1/8 jig I like the 1/16 but in that river on lake talquin. It’s tuff to get that 1/16 down but my 98 percent go to is 1/8. Sometimes they may want smaller but normally in that grass. They’ll hit that 1/8 Thanks appreciate you
Just for any lake river. I would go with silver blk. Ghost shinner swamp bug. Gator jig if you look at the pops crappie jig website. Those are the names of the jigs. Anything blue silver blk mixed. Great colors for Florida waters.
Lake Marion is easy. The creeks an river channel for stripers. Brush for crappie. Any pile you see sticking up check it for brush. Good chance we got brush on it are around it close. All your creeks will have brush in it. We have it loaded with brush. Get out I. The forest where all the submerged trees are. Plenty crappie out there. Lower lake same scenario. Every channel marker out there has brush around it. Angels landing area good place for trolling are fishing brush. My channel member ship also gives out quite a few numbers as well. One guarantee for bream an sometimes the crappie but them bream have taking over that brush pile on Moultrie.
