I was thinking about going by time we put gas in truck boat n license it's $400 lol I know some buddies are catching them in lochloosha but I like catching big slabs 😁 love dead lake in crescent and always wanted to fish the st John's but no clue where. Just didn't want to try and drive and be in the water before daylight unless I knew if they are biting.. thanks brother ✌️👊😎

If ya have a few pulleys and a winch, a person can do a lot. Heck, the pulleys themselves are worth it with good rope.

That is a bad situation. My son-in-law got his trailer axle hung under the concrete wash out. The only way out was to take a swim and lift the trailer over the ledge. Good think it was in the summer.

COncrete ramp and it's wallered out at the end of it underwater and that's why it gets hung up. Needs some coarse rock and then some coarse gravel fill... Engineering issue...

Good on ya for taking a few hours of your fishing time to help a fellow out. I don't know if he offered you anything, but I would have offered you at least a hundred bucks to show gratitude 9and cheaper than a tow truck or new trailer). But if I was you I wouldn't have accepted any money (just the good karma), but I would have asked him: "Instead of taking the money, on your way home stop at the Fish Shanty for dinner and find the oldest and ugliest waitress ('cause they work the hardest and get no love) and slip her a Ben Franklin."
