On that open water I did. Normally in grass an pads. No. I don’t even know why I got live scope. I haven’t used it but maybe a dozen times in 5 years. It’s been sitting in the building for 8 months now.

Really like watching all your videos ..... but I can't stop from thinking about how that river your fishing just looks like it would be a great place to catch some nice Flatheads .... have you ever caught any flatheads or do you have any videos of yourself catching any ..... and could you suggest a boat landing that I could fish with my 18ft John boat that I could catfish at with out having to run to far from the landing at night ... I Just want to try some place different... I fish the Edisto, Cooper and Santee River most of the time, I understand if you can't but I would appreciate any help or info you could give .... Catch them and let line out to boat them, first time I ever saw that!! Fine tuned technique for sure. Not many grass beds like that up north here in Michigan. I’ve fished long poles before usually in spring. Not in years now our lakes etc. have been infested with zebra mussels. The water is clear and the crappie and bluegill can see you way off. I’ve converted to six to seven foot poles with slip floats to cast to them. We catch many more if we stay a distance away. Many years ago I broke a twelve foot B&M pole catching a four pound smallie👍

All you need to find fish is a 30"inch tv screen and a live scope. Got it.
Naw you don’t need it. It was a waste of money for haven’t used it in so long and got another one still in box for two years now I haven’t put on the other boat. Literally a waste of money

So when you’re jigging grass, do you just drop it in and let it set or do you jig it. Also, what jig head and soft plastic and color would you recommend.
Both until I start catching crappie. The colors can change over night. Try something natural are with chartreuse in it. 1/8 is gonna be all you ever see me using atx lure company and acc crappie stix jig heads and plastics. They hold up an take a beating. The. The pops crappie hair jigs also

I like this kind of crappie fishing, where I fish I’m used to fishing brush tops in 20ft of water. Been experimenting fishing more shallow water as it’s gotten cooler out, and have been catching some nice fish. Awesome video
Thanks we appreciate you. All year long you can fish that shallow water an jig grass an laydowns an catch fish. Me i like 6 ft are better of water to jig in here in SC but i've proved that they are in as shallow as 2 ft even in the summer but i would much rather have at least 6 ft of water. i guess it's just a head thing but a good friend Whitey Outlaw who in my opinion is King of the swamp an jigging grass pounded it in my head 6ft are better.

It's right if your wanting to work for them but when it cools off a little more it'll be good fishing. They were spraying yesterday with helicopters in the swamp and marion Just killing all the grass for some reason but santee cooper don't care about the fishing they care about the power.
