At 5:02 that's an 80's era American army "duffle bag", not a punching bag.
11:23 11:28 11:39 11:49
actually its called the perfect trilogy. Only reason most directors today can not do the same thing back to the future did is it would be gimmick
@@karldammannloeoel😮 as😊owl
Best Trilogy of all time.
No doubt
Maybe but I'd say it's the Best Trilogy of all time.
Hands down. I remember seeing all 3 in theaters.
100% agreement, best trilogy of all time.
Very hard to argue this
Thomas Wilson doesn't get enough credit in the trilogy for his SEVEN characters. He plays 1955 Biff, 3 verisons of 1985 Biff (Bully, Detailer, Rich), 2015 Grandpa Biff and Griff AND 1885 Beuford.
RIGHT, all of the actors though were made use of perfectly in every movie
Also predicted the cubs championship in the right year
And a hero in Wing Commander the videogames
8 if we count Officer Biff in Camp Nowhere. I mean Lloyd is in the film too.
He also did his grandma’s voice in 1955.
Did I watch these when they all released separately a few months ago? Yes I did!
Am I going to watch it again? Yes I am!
Yep love these tho for when I want to go back and not have to go and find all 3 separately
I thought I was going a bit crazy, or consuming so much BTTF content 😂 thank you for mentioning it was a repost lol
My guy breaking down one of the BEST trilogies ever . And one of my favourites I’ll add. 👏🏽
Legend. Couldn’t sleep and there’s no better trilogy for easy vibes than this. I applaud you.
Great characters. Loved this trilogy as a kid and even more as an adult. Biff was my favorite.
The mythology of Hill Valley is so fun to play in.
Scary Fact:- If this story was made today, they would be travelling back to the 90’s 👀
Still one of the best movie trilogies ever made
Let's do it
Where are the snipers. Just doun a remake and only changing pop culture and dated is an awesome idea
wow, thats true...makes me feel older than dirt lol
"There are two Deloreans in 1885. Why not just use the fuel from the other?" ...my whole life has been a lie! Lol😂
There would probably not be fuel in it. He likely would have drained the fuel before storing it. You can't just keep gasoline in your car like that for months let alone years or decades. So there really is no plothole, here.
The real plot hole is the train plan that they didn't have to go through with after Mad Dog was arrested. There was no further danger they could have waited till winter
Even with me loving the the MCU, LOTR, Star Wars, various DC movies, and other genre films/franchises... I gotta say that "Back to the Future" remains my favorite trilogy ever. It's just such an inventive, yet easy watch. Unlike most trilogies or series of movies, the BTTF trilogy really feels like one really long movie/story, thanks the fact that the sequels both start right where the previous movie ends; there's no time jump (so to speak) or significant passing of time between the films; it just feels like 1 long adventure. The characters are super memorable and likeable (for the most part); the stories are unique, complex, yet easily digestible; and the music by Alan Silvestri and Huey Lewis are just classic. Love that you're discussing it.
Just watched the Eclipse and now wanted to watch a movie. Nothing great out at the moment. This is a perfect alternative. Thanks so much. Back to the Future is my favourite movie ever.
Just watched all the movies and breakdowns this week. Perfect timing, thank you!!!
Thank you for making this video on the masterpiece trilogy of all time!
I recently rewatched all three back to back and they still hold up. So good!
Best Trilogy of all time and Back To The Future remains in my top favorite 25 films of all time. Loving your analysis.
Over the years whenever I'm asked to rank these movies, it always seems to be in constant flux depending on which of the 3 hasn't been seen most recently (currently III is topping the chart which is rare, because I usually do marathons) ---- same way I've always approached the Indiana Jones TRILOGY (yes, there are 3 (T-H-R-E-E) movies), which seemingly only get better and better with age...
Fantastic work on the breakdown, my favorite part was the real-time realization bit that kept happening. HAD ME ROLLING--- "Holy sh!t! Is that Elijah Wood?"
100% same way with star wars ot. thank god disney never got it's greasy mitts on this franchise.
Thank you so much for this, Paul. 🙏🏻
These are by far my favorite movies of all time. Pure gold!!!
I needed this for my walk, Thanks!
That was excellent thank you the amount of research brilliant really enjoyed that
This is probably my favorite upload of yours ever!
Lets gooooo Pdawg! Love the classic breakdowns
Thanks for the work you put into this!
Much appreciated mate
Thanks, really enjoyed watching this today.
One of my favorite trilogies!
Bro I have been dreaming of the day you release extra long videos. Right when I was thinking about rewatching these too. Let’s fucking go
Thumbs up before even watching it 👍
The clock on the General Electric coffee machine at 9:08 was also set to the correct time (though it's obscured by an X that was taped over the hands. Guessing Doc did that because he couldn't change the time on the machine, so the X is meant to be a "don't look at this/it's wrong/broken" kinda thing), so there's a couple that snuck through :D
I’ve noticed more channels I’ve subscribed to malting these longer videos, not complaining, actually more of these please! Just something I’ve noticed on my feed
When Marty first went back to 1955 in the first movie, the movie theater was playing The Cattle Queen of Montana, with Barbara Stanwyck playing the title role, but the film also starred Ronald Reagan.
😂I literally laughed out loud when you called that little kid a, "Scumbag". Maureen Steinberger, an very experienced horse rider, did all of her own riding even running her horse alongside the train and reaching for the handle, which was then grabbed by her stunt-double. The #3 stream train was used in many tv shows and movies, including, The Unforgiven. It's located in Jamestown, CA, at the 1887 Sierra Rail Town where they give rides.
I've been waiting for this video from you for at least two years. 😀
I’m pretty sure I had watched these breakdowns before, but finding new things all the time. Doc hanging from the clock reminded me, this time, of Buster Keaton hanging from a clock. See-something in your videos trigger more to appreciate with these films. Thanks, Paul 👍✌️
Much love, thank you
Harold Lloyd, I think, rather than Buster Keaton.
@@AdrianColley thank you! I must do better research. I just had the imagine in my brain but clearly got the wrong person.
THANK YOU FOR THIS!! It's my favorite trilogy PERIOD!!
Got a new subscriber thank you
Very well done, whenever I watch a video on this page I know I'm gonna learn something, and I've seen all 3 hundreds of times😁😁😁 Thank You!
My oldest daughter (14) and I went to a triple feature back in 2015 (BTTF 2 was set in 2015) we so much fun watching a movie we had seen at least a dozen times, only difference was this time was on the big screen ❤
That's HEAVY ❤😂😂😂
I've watched this about ten times love your work 😍
Thank you
This is awesome! At work, but I’m definitely watching this later
You guys are legends 😮 ..absolutely buzzing that my favourite trilogy is discussed..thank you paul
Much appreciated mate and thanks for joining
28:09 the howl had me dying 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I’ve been watching this while working the entire day! I LOVE THIS VIDEO!!!!! One thing though - I was almost in agreement with taking the fuel from the Dolorean that was already there HOWEVER if you take the fuel from the Dolorean that is there - it messes with the time line of Marty being able to get from 1955 to the Old West.
1:01:10 Uniglobe Travel
Marty jumping across staircases to escape Biff's goons baffles me...what kind of staircase is that?
Incredible job, dude! These movies ARE my childhood
Great trilogy!! Holy shit this is a super sized video and a pleasant surprise!! Can’t wait! I know ur gunna kill this one!! 🤘🔥🔥🔥🔥
I had no idea that Marty was flashing SOS with the headlights when the car stalled.
Learn something new everyday!
Falling asleep to theory times n shit, HELL yeah brother 🤘🏻
Hahaha
Covering all 3, that’s heavy.
subscribed.
I love your content but can’t believe you didn’t make reference to George hitting Lou with chocolate milkshake when he smacks his glass down. I always loved that!
One line that I completely overlooked and is hilariously Biff…. “Hey, I’m talking to you McFly, you Irish Bug!”
How did I just realize this after 39 years! Mc Fly, haha. AND if we wanna overthink this, a Fly is an insect, not a bug, so the insult is perfectly Biff😜
I forgot that I used to wonder why he was carrying that envelope down the hallway. Thank you for answering questions I didn’t even remember I had. I think this is my favorite channel for breakdown content
I only have one question how doses nil’s connecting to Martin in which way cause other than he shows back up in the third one it’s ever explain’s what’s was the connection between themselves is sooo?😊
Great movie!
Your voice is perfect for these.. have you done tv work before?
Where do you purchase physical copies of scripts and screenplays?
The amount of time and energy put into this video deserves a lot! Thanks gents 👏
Cheers mate
I never realised Biff Towers was built on the clock tower! 🤯
Oh yes, thank you.
Best movie Trilogy ever. Probably my favorite
Thank you for doing a breakdown on this movie this is my childhood movie if you could do next Howard the duck? thanks
Great movie.
Top 5 Trilogy off all time!!!!!!!!
Dude, my day had been total shite until I started listening to this. Thank you, you made me smile, especially at the incest joke for some reason. 😂🤷🏼♀️
I never caught this, but at 1:05:39 the road appears closed. So where were they going to race if the Royals Royce didn't appear?
Best movies of all time. But contrary to the producer not wanting to make any more sequels i have always wanted to see more parts.
I do not know how many times i have seen bttf trilogy’s but i am not done yet watching them a few times a year. Will never get tired of Back to the future.
1:58:20 not sure if it's intentional but I realized that in the first part Biff gets defeated by being knocked out by a punch in the face, in second he gets defeated by getting covered in manure and in the third one his great grandpa gets defeated by getting knocked out by a punch in the face and falling into manure, which is like a combination of first and second.
Is it true they r making another back to the future movie or something similar?
I’m having serious Deja vu. Is this video a re-release? Looking forward to the other reviews.

Oh, I see! This is itself a trilogy. Love it!
I love BTTF. It’s the second movie that I saw at the cinema, the first being Ghostbusters.
despite the odds, I've watched this whole video twice ... very, very good
Good eye on the 345... you either research well or play guitar. Was just playing a 335 in the local guitar shop the other day. Great guitar.
I used to watch the first movie on VHS as a kid all the time. Watched the 2nd one on HBO
I got almost all the way through the first movie before I realized I had seen this before.
Amazing Trilogy, not a bad one 😊
This was an absolute banger video. You nailed the breakdown of the trilogy and you done it all in one video which was a plus. I definitely subscribed and liked this video. If any of you have not yet done the same then shame on you. Straight shame on you.
Thank you
@@heavyspoilers I learned a lot of new things I never knew or realized about these movies. I totally love the BTTF movies and very much enjoyed this. I am watch more of your breakdown of other movies and shows as well speak.
Best trilogy I ever seen
Patiently awaiting the Alien 4 breakdown
And, of course, the frighteners stared John Astin, who had such a great experience he told his son, Sean, that Peter was the man to work with when he got a chance! ❤
BTTF 1 2 3 !!!! nice !
How many times did Marty die? And how many times did Doc use the time machine to go and rescue Marty.
At 24:12, you talk about Einstein's watch. In that section, from the moment that the DeLorean disappears with Einstein, to travel 1 minute into the future, that actual scene between departure and arrival is 1:21 seconds. So the scene took 1:21 seconds to film the scene to get to 1:21 AM in a Time Machine that requires 1.21 Jigiwats
Le cameo improbable d'Antoine DeCaunes😂
I hope they never make anymore sequels...this trilogy was lightning in a bottle. ❤️🎬🍿
Lightning in a Delorean 😊
29:59 I like to think Doc just didn't keep up with celebrity gossip that much and didn't realize Reagan had divorced and remarried.
1:40:54 Fuel goes bad, and being left in the tank can cause damage. Doc would have already drained it. I always thought he used it for his ice maker, but I guess they don't specifically say that.
1:57:30 I never understood this claim. Tannen was almost 30 in the movie. Why couldn't he have had a kid BEFORE the events of the movie, and then get killed in it? We never see Biff have a kid in any time period yet he has a teenage grandkid in 2015, meaning he'd almost HAVE to have a kid in 1985, but we see no referene to it. Why couldn't Mad Dog Tannen have an offscreen kid already?
A note on the Texaco stations throughout history: In 2015 the robotic voice at the station says (If I'm remembering right) "You can trust your car to the system with the star". This calls back to a 1960s Texaco slogan, "Trust your car to the man who wears the star" (several of whom we see in the 1950s).
the hair dryer actually was addressed (deleted scene: doc's belongings) but they deleted that scene and in turn had to remove the hair dryer bit when he's threatening George for continuity's sake.
There was a ride in Universal Studios that had a sort of spinoff of the movie with Biff stealing a time machine
This series is a masterclass of film production/directing. All the little props, sets and lines carried over from one to the other in seamless perfection. You know, in time (pun slightly intended), Hollywood will for sure ruin this with a remake/reboot. 😮💨
I WISH this had been taught in my script writing classes & film classes. I had to watch and dissect *Witness* in every class for 2 years! I can't EVER watch that movie again.
Greatest movies of all time
one of the best trilogies in world cinema, without a doubt
The train destroying the DeLorean is in some shots a full train, but in the head on shots at 2:00:09 and at 2:00:13 we can clearly see from the shadows it is casting that it is just the engine.
Drives me insane the Eric stolts and Clint Eastwood errors
1:14:18 at the bottom left of the blackboard there is “Dangerous Bob” which is written in graffiti on the high school wall at 14:33 on the left brown section under the tree.
Proper man, I just binged all three of these episodes today
1:01:10 I believe it says UNIGLOBE
I wish I had somebody as observant as you as a buddy. It must be a blast watching movies with you.
Of course, together with my fiancee. ❤
Seriously, though. I devour these vids.
27:57, I didn’t understand this line until 35 years later🙃. I thought it was that there are more peeping toms, not just George and Lorraine possibly/likely knew what she was doing.
Even after seeing this 100’s of times , I find myself noticing “new” things 🧐🤓😜
Love your videos!
I love how even in the 80s they had their own kinds of "Area 51 Raid" where people actually went to the Twin Pines Mall to see if Marty would show up
The best Trilogy of all time❤😊
Universal Studios BTTF ride is awesome too! Alt universe.....live action Rick and Morty film❤
