Thanks. My third build was a Sam Rabl “Teal” (a skiff) out of a library book. The side panels were developed to produce a FLAT flat bottom - no rocker. It was the row from hell. It also cured me of EVER wanting to sail again. But that’s another story, which gets embellished as time goes by. So I’ll spare you...

Hi mate, thanks for a look at your beautiful skiffs. I built a Goat Island Skiff 3 years ago and have converted it to cruising, although she sails really fast, a bit scary for a 76 yr old haha. She is 15 foot and weighs 85 kg. Could your designs be converted to sail? Regards from NZ.

Kayaking (unless you are an Eskimo) hiking out with flying rigging, and children under five should always wear PFD in normal conditions
