If I recall correctly (it’s been over 27 years now😅) the French word for daughter (fille) is derived from the Latin word for thread. I always loved that and seeing you and your mother interact it popped in my head. I can see the love your grandmother gave to your mother and the love your mother gives to you and the love you give your daughters in a long, never ending thread helping to create an amazing family tapestry. It warms my heart and touches me deeply.

Hope you all enjoyed Mother’s Day! I haven’t purchased anything from Nars in a long time. I actually enjoy their products but just haven’t seen anything that really knocked my socks off but I get it that Nara isn’t a knock your socks off brand, more like steady reliable, go to brand, which is needed in the beauty space. With that those shadow crayons are appealing. I know they won’t compare to the Victoria Beckham crayons but it might be worth a try.

Thank you so much. That is so kind of you. I do like the shadow crayons. They are different than Victoria Beckham. A little bit thicker actually but with the same dry down effect. So you might like one if there’s an in between shade you like.

I used to really like that Laguna lip balm, but I developed an allergy to one of the ingredients (phenoxyethanol). 😢 I've always liked NARS products. I'm probably one of the few that was happy they reformulated the blushes, because now I'm not allergic to them! 🎉
Oh WOW, I had not realized that particular ingredient was a known allergin but it obviously is if they took it out of the blush reformulation. Wow. Maybe they'll reformulate the balm too!
