Barney is my favorite character. He's no superhero, he's just an everyday dude trying to get the hell out. Barney is the Luigi to the Mario Bros. The underdog off to the side nobody cares about. Blue Shift is the Luigi's Mansion of Half Life, the normal dude's chance to do something great. And that's why I love this speedrun. Someone made the joke before as Gordon like "Yo guys i destroyed an ancient one in 21 minutes". Barney sitting there at the table is like "Oh yeah? I ran away in 25 minutes take that".
