They're even more fun to drive, I used to race them when I was younger. You can get a 2 wheel drive team associated s10 and race it out of the box, it's pretty quick too.
Very exciting close race to watch. Most impressive part of the whole video... the camera work! So many people want to zoom in on the lead vehicle that you miss the race. This was excellent work, perfect amount of panning in and out and keeping on the action which wasn’t always the lead vehicle! Job well done to the racers and the real winner, the camera person!
Now that's racing!!! Track marshals didn't have to constantly flip trucks over the whole time. Some nice battles up front with a mixed field of different company trucks. Great footage!!!
I honestly don’t know how these guys operate these things like they do I got good reflexes and I know I couldn’t do it I would be off the track in the first curve probably. I have tried running the big gas powered trucks and electric buggy’s and there so fast there hard to control in tight spots. Hats off to these guys.
This was fun to watch. First time I’ve ever seen it. Looks really fun to do yourself , but takes a whole lot of dedication , practice and years of experience.
I love Motorsports!! Anything with a motor that is comparatively the same as the person your racing with. What’s the absolute thing you need to do to win a race?? Finish the race!! And the last lap is so intense cuz you made it so far someone is guna win.
yeah, its amazing what a big front and rear bumper, combined with a huge body, can do for durability. They make it so that in a crash, a good portion of the force that would normally go to the shocks and arms go to the bumpers and body instead.
I just got out of SC racing and bought a Durango ST...and freakin love it. There is a downfall as far as durability goes...your tires/suspension is exposed so breaking stuff is a little easier to do (as I found out early on), but it makes me drive with a little more finesse as I can't always just bounce off the pipes if I mess up.
I can’t afford these anymore, but they were so much fun. I started out at socal the original track not the newer place that had indoor and off-road. Then prices got stupid crowds there were none like this a few company people girlfriends and that’s about it. Bummer it was fun.
@Schomaker9253 I am converting my slash to a STRC LCG chassis, I am gonna also put a ballistic 5.5T with a savox steering servo when I get money over the summer.
This is wild. I looked at the date published and was like "oh, think I remember watching this before." Then when I thought about it I realized I was in elementary school when this was published
Sand schorcher..rough rider...holiday buggy...hornet. That was my childhood.....good ol straight axles and 2wd...on dirt. Doughnuts everywhere...couldn’t stay straight.
I can't understand how the people controlling them do it. Such skill just to keep it on track. If they had cameras in the front I could understand - drive them from a screen just like looking thru a windscreen. I tried a drone once but got left and right confused.
I guess you get used to connecting your fingers movements to the movements you want to give to the. But still, they manage to follow perfect trajectories and that's indeed really impressive.
@@markcarey8426 actually POV is much harder. This is easier, still they are very talented. As a kid i grew up with one of these places two blocks away so I spent tons of time on the cement track and the dirt track. After awhile you get the hang of it but these are the best of the best i'm sure.
They're the same price. And the first SCs were literally their StadiumTruck counterparts with bumpers and a different body. The SC10 is still a T4 with a new body. So they are more durable, but really they are the exact same.
i have a 2wd SC, here in Aus we have a 10.5 blinky rule in every club... i only drive it i have to, i dont really like sc anymore, but its great to drive though
Really like the st trucks, so much smoother and quicker than the sc trucks. I think the sc trucks should run on bigger tracks like this one. It just makes it better than the little tight courses that I see the sct trucks slamming around on. It's kinda funny when I watch the sc 1/10 trucks running around a track it reminds me of kids slamming and grinding their skate boards on city streets
That's true, SCs have less traction than STs. I have a 13.5 in my XXX-SCT and it can be a bit of a handful in loose conditions (such as when the track is completely dry). Still, from what I've seen there's almost always at least one guy who thinks they can bully their way through the pack. I have to drive much more aggressively myself in an SC race in order to keep ahead of the pack. Same goes for the 4wd SC class. I personally don't enjoy doing that, but there are people that do.
@@Roxxstar-wy9ti so awesome! this race and track are prolly my fav off all time so far especially coming back to it now after Jared has actually recently became my favorite racer. Losi guy myself tho. still very much in love with the xxx series

Stereotypes can be negative or positive. your saying SC is an "easy" class or "carefree" those can equally be seen as negatives by some people. i am blunt and to the point. You might be a fantastic driver and if you were at my local track i would probably have respect for you because you can tell when someone has been exposed to real racing. but im not talking about you. I am talking about the class in general, not the people racing them.
Consider SCT a stepping stone to get into the racing part of this hobby. Someone just getting in isnt gonna do well open wheel racing with less room for error. I can agree at the pro level ST is alot entertaining. America loves NASCAR. NASCAR bangs around just like an SCT does. Lots of rubbin and the race goes on. SCT is a hack fest!
SC has become so popular mainly because it looks more like the real thing. However, truggies/stadium trucks will always be my choice. They go faster, handle better, and jump with more control. I would prefer the buggies but I was too concerned about scuffed up shock towers.
I miss Stadium Trucks. Hardly see them anymore. Was definitely my favorite to race.
Is it just me, or was that legitimately intense(and really fun) to watch?
it's not just you. these are the best ever!
