Diana, Princess of Wales, was born 2 years before me. I remember that during the 1980s, when I worked in a dress shop, I was always trying to copy her outfits! The night that she wore the ‘Revenge Dress’ was the same night that Prince (now King), Charles’ interview was broadcast throughout the world! In it, he admitted to adultery. THAT is the reason the dress was given that name. It outshone her husband’s BIG reveal! Lol. Great video!
The times were different in Diana’s day, skirt suits were what we professional women wore. I liked wearing them, along with tailored dresses, to my corporate office, they made getting dressed for work easy. I never wore trousers to the office once in my whole career, women were just starting to wear them when I was forced to retire early because of an injury. Skirt suits can hardly be found anywhere now, except in super-mini versions for teenagers. I’m still an almost exclusively skirt and dress wearer, by preference, I just love their comfort.
I'm the same age as Princess Diana. I copied her style within my modest budget. I miss her stylish input and would have liked to see how she dressed as she aged.
realy nice outfits you do, says class all over. Especially agreeing with the hair situation, wealthy people always have their hair on spot, its the first I always notice=)
I’d love you to cover Jackie O’s post-White House looks, her First Lady clothes were dictated partly by advisers there. But afterward, she had style freedom, and those are her looks I like best.
Loved this video as well as all your other videos. You have such an engaging presenting style! I was wondering could you do a video analysis on Grace Kelly, Queen Rania of Jordan and Amal Clooney. They are three women whom I think are super elegant and would be so interesting to see your perspective on their style and personalities. Thank you!
Love this video, very good. I have A hard time picking out what shoe goes with certain pants. I have some leather slim brown pants and can’t figure out besides wearing a flat what to wear with it. Maybe a video about what shoes go with what pants.
The blazer-white jeans imitation was spot on!! Love learning from you! What do you think of Kate Middleton's style? It would make for an interesting video.
Muchas gracias! Perfect video!!! Loved the white jeans look! Very JKO and very Lady Di, simultaneously. Have you analyzed a JKO look? A MM but tamed to our times? A Rita Hayworth!
😉 Beijinho 😘
I looked like a brown haired Diana in 1980 until her death. Nobody did Diana like Diana. She was an icon and her style was less frilly and more classic towards the end Miss her
Thanks for a lovely video Mariana! Jackie Kennedy and Grace Kelly were two very stylish women that I would love to see you make videos about.
A lot of requests for a Jackie video! I’ll have to do it!!!
@@MarianaZelenjuk siiiiii !!!
I’m so obsessed with this hairstyle on you Mariana! It’s modern yet classic, fresh, and super chic. Really elevates your wonderful outfits 🔥 🔥
Thank you! I’m still figuring out how to style it - specially my bangs that for some reason keeps separating from the rest of my hair 😂
Yes its the perfect length! Do you cut it all one length Mariana or is it layered a bit?
I layer it a bit, just so it bends

I was almost exactly the same age as her, so I followed her looks.

Oh, thank you, Pratha! You’re always so sweet 😌

I bet she would still be one of the most elegant ladies around ☺️
I absolutely adored this video, it gave me so many ideas on simple smart styling
Lady Di had such exquisite style!
And so carefree and simple at the same time…. Love it!
Love her style. I have made a collage of my favorites of her looks.
There are so many great looks from Lady Di!
Very well made video and a lovely tribute to the late Princess Di. Love her timeless style so much. ❤
Love this video, in particular your recreation of the outfits 😍

Great suggestions Lipa! I’ll add them to the list 😉
Mariana, great video but please tell us where you got the sweater you’re wearing! I need it 🙏🙏
Hi Mariana! I love all of Princess Dianas looks! I'd love to know what she'd be wearing now. Great video!!
Hi Celia! Me too! She was very into fashion, so maybe classic with a touch of glam, like Cate Blanchett? What do you think?
@@MarianaZelenjuk a suitable observation!
Great homage video! I love, love, love navy blue clothing. ❤

I also admire Rania of Jordania. Perhaps we can analyze her style:)?
I’m so curious what Princess Diana would have been wearing today if she was still alive and no longer in the royalty. I’m sure it would be lovely.

you are a princesse too

Love all your looks👍the Lady Di Dior bag is my favorite! Notice how long the blazers were in the 80s-90s??

It's not about the 80s it's about classic style
