Also I love to entertain and was tired of using boxes and covering them....😆....height just always gives food so much more depth and it looks so appetizing, can't wait to show you 😍 ❤ thanks again for sharing beautiful lady...
I am trying to catch up on you all ladies videos. I have two book shelves that I kept from an old bookcase. I am not a hoarder but I held on to them because I knew I could us them for some project later on and this is one way. One thing with this riser is it can be used throughout the year. Thanks for sharing your look for less. You ladies amazing.
Wow I'm so glad I found this...I've been through almost all of your blogs on my TV looking for this...😆 🤣 yeeeees I love this and my son in law can do this easily...this is awesome....thanks for sharing and all your wonderful tips...
Yes I love the bun feet and all the wonderful ideas you add. I have a super large kitchen island and am going to really be on the lookout for tiered stands. I have many Arthur Court treys but rarely use any tiered stands. I am going to indulge and get one...maybe even check out the thrift stores for a bargain. Go high low!
Thanks so much for the tour of Goodwill Treasures! You are absolutely delightful and so creative! I really enjoy your videos and they always inspire me to clean my silver or look at something old from Grandma in a new way. Hope you have a great week !
your videos inspire me to be a great hostess, paying keen attention to details, and doing the best I can. thank Heaven for people like you. you are truly blessed with talent
Sigh...that was amazeballs!!! I am definitely making this for my holiday table! I never realized that Lowes had that selection on feet and plates; I actually have a bench to repair. 2in1 score in this video for me! Thanks Denise!
You have the gift of hospitality! I love how thoughtful and creative you are in creating your breakfast areas or displays. This table riser is a great idea!
Hi Denise , thank you for sharing this project, I have always admired yours and I am excited to get started to making me one. Enjoyed watching have a great day!
This is such a fabulous way to up your entertaining game for less! I see a table riser in my future. :) Thank you so much for participating in my collab, Denise! Xo
This is wonderful! Love this. I've saved the wood feet off of old sofas every time we purchased a new one. I never thought to save the medal parts they attach too though. Now I know what to do with them. Great to make one for a pet food table too. 💕Tfs, have a happy week.
I'm gonna make a couple of these, now that you have shown me how. I think I might paint one white and do the technique you did on the other one. This was a awesome video thank you so much :-).
Thank you Denise,. I just made mine tonight while everyone was watching the super bowl. I love it. I wanted to paint it black but ran out of black paint. I will tag you so you can see it. Maybe I will paint it later. Take care.
Thanks for the idea, I have some repurposed wood planks and I'll see what I can do. I'd like to make a riser to fit on my coffee table to put out appetizers and this would be perfect to add a little height and room.
I absolutely love this idea. I am going to make one for my kitchen table and maybe even a smaller one for my craft closet. I LOVE that 10% from Lowe's. Thank you for sharing.
Now, this is on my "To-Do List, " Denise...so simple! Don't know if I will get to it before the Christmas holidays, but I love this idea/I want a SQUARE one for my kitchen nook table. Btw, I find myself watching your Christmas and Fall videos of your island all the time/Thanks for sharing, my YT Sister!!! ---BE BLESSED
+Diva Designing on a Dime with Kimberly Davis I hope you can get it for Christmas your guest will be impressed. Watch away...my dear friend. I hope you can get some ideas. Love you girl! :)))
Denise where have you been? I was having a detox moment. LoL. Thank you so very much for this wonderful idea, most of all it makes so much sense. As a group of wonderful ladies we all grow so much stronger when we are willing to share our fabulousness & ideas. Anxiously awaiting your Holiday video's. Hugs.
What a simple project for so much impact! Making one to hold my coffee stuff (on the small side). May do one for my dining room table, although it would be long and narrow. I have been admiring your risers for some time. I was thinking I could find a skinny coffee table and cut the legs. 😀 Your DIY is a much better solution.
I LOVE this! Thank you for the tips on how to make a riser. I could sure use some vertical space in our current home and I might consider taking on this project sometime! I tried making the clay coasters that you featured on your channel a while ago but mine didn't turn out so well. I was so excited and in a hurry that my clay were uneven and had bubbles in it. I am going to give it another try soon.
+HouseOfAqua Hey Ms. Aqua...lol! Thanks so much my friend! I'm sorry it didn't work for you. Maybe you should try making the clay a little thicker...that may work. Don't give up. Hugs!!!:)))
First and foremost, thank you for your service in the armed forces. Our freedom is priceless. I'm glued to your channel. I've been watching all day today!
Wonderful idea, thank you so much for sharing .. will have one done next week and will use it for X-mas morning breakfast ! THANK YOU, Merry Christmas to you and loved ones.
Beautiful and great ideas!!!! I must have a kitchen island in our next home 💖💖! One thing that I can and will incorporate right now is the cake plates and three tiered pedestals ;)!!!!
Hey Denise! You should have your own magazine😊😊 you and Doing it on a Dime are so motivating! Have you ever used Rose water w any of your home diy, I figure I'd ask the talented expert. Your house looks amazing😊😊
This would be perfect for styling my X-Mas decor for the holidays! Definitely would give my decor some height! Love this idea! I actually may go to Lowes today!
Hi Denise! Great video. I am putting together a buffet table for today's Thanksgiving celebration. I have layered our octagonal glass dining room table with two different tablecloths, one on top of the other. To add height, I have planed piles of books under the top tablecloth. It is a fun process but difficult to decide how high I want to go with it. Interspersed among the levels I will put candles, careful not to put them too close to the serving pieces so as not to singe my guests.
Hey my Denise.......Honey you are such an inspiration!!!! Awesome tips on layering for some holiday drama! This is on my I Want It Right Now List! LOL! Great ideas & great job....oooh & hubby did great too:) TFS & Smooches:)))))
wow! I saw your Christmas video and commented on where you bought your table riser with Santa on it! Love that you did yhis video! thanks so much! Such a great channel!!
This looks amazing and I have loved this since the first time I saw you use one of these. I can't wait to make one and find creative ways to use them like you have done. You are so talented!!! Have a great weekend. Erica
Hi Denise. I've watched this video a few times until I finally decided to do my own buffet riser, I used cedar since I already had it and was the right size. Now, I let it dry overnight but still notice it is staining my hands, should I wipe it further and remove more stain? Let it dry longer? You dont mention if you used anything else on top of the stain to seal it. I love the wood grain showing and the mate finish and can't wait to use it on my Christmas brunch table.
Omgoodness Denise I just can't get enough of your videos. Ive always loved how the table risers made your buffet look amazing! Definitely adding it to my DIY list. Thank you so much! btw ( Im the same per as susieq on IG)
Denise, as always your ideas are incredible What do you suggest for making the buffet a lot taller, so, that things could be stored underneath? I have a thought in mind but not really sure about it. I am thinking about using wrought iron to give me the height that I desire.
Oh my! I love it! Another project on my list. Seriously! I can't wait! You have a beautiful kitchen. :) Thank you for the inspiration! Hugs and love, Cathryn
Such an incredible job, as always! You are so creative and inspiring. Thanks for always sharing your gorgeous projects with us. I had so much fun with this collab - you are all so gifted!
Hi Denise!! I love this table riser, so beautiful and what a great idea!! I need to make a couple of the ASAP!! Your tablescapes are alway stunning! Thanks for tips! Have a great weekend! Big hugs !! Liza :))
Thanks a million for the tutorial, the only thing I couldn't figure out was how the legs were screwed in, is the screw attached to the leg? I love the Tuscan feel, and plan on making a smaller riser for my glass coffee and sugar canisters, so my coffee bar can be a little bit more "extra."
+sleekmodernchic luxe Your welcome! The mounting plate that my husband was screwing there's a hole on the top. Just screw the feet to the plate! This will be perfect for your coffee station. Thanks so much for watching! :))
Denise, this is such a great idea!!!! And I love the size of your kitchen! I am admiring the tea kettle sitting in the background. Is that a MacKenzie-Childs? I know the original founders sold the company; and I'm not sure if anything is still in production. I so loved their work! TFS, Big Hugs, Sandi.
Also I love to entertain and was tired of using boxes and covering them....😆....height just always gives food so much more depth and it looks so appetizing, can't wait to show you 😍 ❤ thanks again for sharing beautiful lady...
I have been doing different size risers thanks to you and always I go back to this video❤
