And then of course we finally see Chongyun in a pure yang episode in which he loses his bearings and becomes more passionate. Let me just say, this has completely recontexualized Xingqiu trying to sneak Chongyun chilis and whatnot- if I saw him like that, it'd be hard to go back for me, too. I mean, look at him, he's so talkative and adorable!
If you remember the painter guy in Sumeru near the Pari's place, he got a curse where he can draw anything perfectly at the cost of being colourblind. He got that condition from a water fairy aka oceanid (the oceanid part is theorised since oceanids did make a pilgrimage to Sumeru). The popular theory is that a water fairy in the pond behind Springvale cursed/blessed Diona with her ability to mix drinks. Judging from the blue-haired girl stories and poems, I think that she might be the Oceanid that cursed Diona, might be wrong tho, the timeline will be pretty scuffed if I'm correct.
@@saif-gv6gl Sounds reasonable! Admittedly, I don't remember the painter man, likely because I didn't finish the Pari questline yet, so I'm a bit behind on some lore. I would love it if Chongyun's pure-yang spirit as a condition also ended up having some lore expanded upon regarding its origins. We know it's a "one-in-a-million" condition, but is it a blessing, a curse, something related to his bloodline, or perhaps a result of a lingering collection of energy/presence in Liyue similar to, but difference in its malignancy, Inazuma's Tartarigami? Who knows.
They finally showed Chongyun's excessive Yang personality. Its kinda cute.

there was no alcohol mix in the drinks 2:28 it was the effect jueyun chillies to him that makes him hyper because of his pure yang constitution 4:26. So he wasn't drunk..
