      him playing chopin while nazi officer watches it was so painful to watch and the nazi officer was actually real person he helped a lot of jews to escape helped them with food yet he was killed in soviet camps

    For me it's Masaan, before that I didn't know that movies can have a soul. I saw many movies before that (world cinema, Indian, regional etc. mainly a movie-buff), but masaan hit me to the core.
    Now, I am an avid watcher, and thrive to feel the soul of a movie, the underlying senses of it.

Whereas look at the commercial cinema of Hollywood or korea..action adventures, fantasy movies, super hero movies, fairy tales, zombie movies, rock's jungle cruise was panned by critics, now imagine if something like that was made in india..people would go crazy for it.

    I remember watching bicyle thieves in Department physics, Univeristy of Pune on Friday and it blowed my mind. Every friday at 6 PM, we had a movie and some other movies we watched are The life is beautiful, Memories of murder, 7 samurai, The secret in their eyes and central do brasil and many others.
