Hi John! I passed this just a week or two ago easily. I overstudy for everything, but your cram and Master Class truly complimented my college Azure course and my lab work. I must say I didn't notice the Microsoft Learn option at first, only when I went to review a few questions with a few minutes left. I think that the change to open book style exam is great, though. It allows to test on your ability to research, analyze and implement under time pressure instead of testing how many SKU's you can memorize ;)

I used this as a sandwich for my preparation, watched it once before I started the Microsoft Learn with hands on, and then once just before the exam. I did not do any practice tests, only because I work with some of this frequently. In hindsight it would have been good to do some practice tests as I found case study questions very time consuming. Thanks a lot to you for this video. It filled the knowledge gaps and I passed.

Also many important things you mentioned about Azure are very important but buried under some knowledge base of Microsoft and might need to find and read many articles to uncover them . So you tell all the relevant and key points and that is great approach .Thanks a million again .
Graduated high school last year and I’m currently working on a 2 year degree in networking and I’m also studying Azure in my own time. I think I’ve jumped in the deep end with Azure but I’m just going to stick to it till I get it down. Passed this morning and can definitely say John's video made the difference. I watched at the start, did MS Learn and then watched twice more before exam (at 2* speed).
I just passed the exam. Your videos are extremely helpful not only to pass the exam but to gain knowledge also. Thanks a lot John. Keep up the excellent work and educate us!!!
Practice test did not go well. I've spent so much time on this, and can do anything in Azure I want to, but the gotcha questions with multiple answers and steps and minutia of weird random stuff is making studying frustrating. I likely am going to give up on it, because the exam, if anything like I've read or practice questions, is just bad. It's for a product designed to be intuitive and easy to use, but is created with a focus on things and specific commands and such that just aren't necessary (to memorize) for an actual Azure administrator job. Watching your video now anyways in hopes maybe I will feel differently later.
Passed using this cram course, freeCodeCamp AZ-104 youtube course, and Scott Duffy Udemy AZ-104. Didn't use MS Learn. Already has experience in Azure AD and network knowledge.

Recently gave the exam attempt and did not passed(Sept 2023 with 64 %). I studied Microsoft learn in detail(at least that's what I thought 😋) . I was not able to do hands on but did followed along lab interactive demo by microsoft. Lesson learned is - Anyone planning to prepare , may see this video to understand the topics on high level, then do a thorough in-depth reading of Microsoft Learn document. Questions will test you a lot on you remembering the detail of their document. Also after the recent changes on exam after August, a lot of questions were from ARM template. Like what is missing in the given ARM code or what will be the option at a particular place. Storage was the weakest point in my exam. Networking was good, but only because I grabbed good concept on that. Questions on Monitor Azure section were tricky. Compute section was not so hard. DO NOT just go to exam by watching this video and thinking you will pass. Even John mentioned that prepare well.

Practice test did not go well. I've spent so much time on this, and can do anything in Azure I want to, but the gotcha questions with multiple answers and steps and minutia of weird random stuff is making studying frustrating. I likely am going to give up on it, because the exam, if anything like I've read or practice questions, is just bad. It's for a product designed to be intuitive and easy to use, but is created with a focus on things and specific commands and such that just aren't necessary (to memorize) for an actual Azure administrator job. Watching your video now anyways in hopes maybe I will feel differently later.
Passed using this cram course, freeCodeCamp AZ-104 youtube course, and Scott Duffy Udemy AZ-104. Didn't use MS Learn. Already has experience in Azure AD and network knowledge.

Recently gave the exam attempt and did not passed(Sept 2023 with 64 %). I studied Microsoft learn in detail(at least that's what I thought 😋) . I was not able to do hands on but did followed along lab interactive demo by microsoft.
Lesson learned is - Anyone planning to prepare , may see this video to understand the topics on high level, then do a thorough in-depth reading of Microsoft Learn document. Questions will test you a lot on you remembering the detail of their document. Also after the recent changes on exam after August, a lot of questions were from ARM template. Like what is missing in the given ARM code or what will be the option at a particular place. Storage was the weakest point in my exam. Networking was good, but only because I grabbed good concept on that. Questions on Monitor Azure section were tricky. Compute section was not so hard.
DO NOT just go to exam by watching this video and thinking you will pass. Even John mentioned that prepare well.
