Why hasn't Nikon added zebras/blinkies in stills? (even though it is available in video). I still can't figure this out. Waiting for the next rendition with talley light, visualizing internal luts, improved EVF, Raw pre-capture, and dual video recording with more flexible rear-screen. Thanks for your post.
Very good camera - mixed bag or whether Nikon should have done at same time a Z7 III (derived from Z8-Z9 tech ) in a higher resolution MP, e.g., 60 MP (using Sony's sensor in α7R IV ) selling it for £3500 - £4000; still don't get what's Nikon doing with the Z7 line now ? - after Z8 release.
Typically Nikon will introduce new sensors in a flagship camera - say a Z10. Those new features then trickle down into other bodies over time. So until there is a Z10 or a Z9S with 60 MP we aren't going to see a camera with that sensor.
@@ShutterSpeak Good Call - wonder if Nikon will do A dual release (Top Tier) -> Z9 MK 2 = R5 II evolution design; same 45 mp, Z9 h = 24 MP Extreme Speed demon (going against Canon's R1 & R3; Still don't get why Canon did this ).
@@georgenilas5799 Ahh - you are correct. Thank you. I had a lot of problems with my D810. I was happy to see it go, but oil was not one of those issues. It's a good camera @tonygarrett7214 , it just wasn't for me.
Joe, Thanks for going over the Z6 III features. I bought 1 and loving it. 👍👍👍
It's a really great camera!
Just ordered my z6iii yesterday with the 24-120mm kit. Cant wait 😁
Thanks for watching. Good luck with the kit.

Great video. Still learning mine. Any idea what setting or "camera state" as Nikon calls it that would keep camera from using mechanical shutter?
Any setting over 14 fps I believe. So if you set the camera to 30, 60, or 120 FPS it should go electronic only.
@ Ive never tried those shutter speeds and I only shoot in Raw so can’t find a reason. Thanks for responding.
The strap hanger is a nonissue. I plug-in a cable to downloaded files. I’ve opened that door to insert both cards and haven’t had to open it since.
I find it annoying and a bit of poor engineering.

That's a great question and I think a lot of us are wondering the same thing. I really thought we would see a 60 mp camera as well.
I think Nikon are waiting to see what Sony do with the a7v.

What a posh camera! It’s almost as good as my NikonD810.
Oil spots and all?
@@ShutterSpeak
Nope. Clean as a whistle thank you.
That's the D600.
