    All of your albums are exceptional... MY favorite album was Alantis the seekQwell.... maybe I set the title wrong but that album was one of my favorite is albums it got me through a lot of change and things I needed to understand in to understand the things I can figure out or change in to move on and respect that decision

    Love K-os. I like how he came in with the low hand to do a traditional handshake. I do the same to avoid a hand cluster that you're just not sure when to end.

      Did you listen to Yes! ? That was the best album of that year imo and Black on Blonde was underrated also. He's been making good music for awhile. Hope his new project is just as good.

    • @SleepFan771
      @SleepFan771 8 лет назад

      +Hobomedic1 Yes! is his last amazing album. BLack on BLonde has some cool songs, but a fair amount of filler. Can't Fly Without Gravity is fun, but not particularly memorable. I think k-os' first 4 albums are classics, man. Give Yes! a chance.

    • @livingabstraction2206
      @livingabstraction2206 8 лет назад +2

      Yeah I agree, Atlantis was his last truly classic album. Yes! has it's moments but doesn't really stand up to his first three albums. Black in Blonde was just two albums of filler and his new album has some cool tracks but not really that memorable.

    Awesome reference of truth to RPM being the original name of The Guvernment nightclub in Toronto (hailed just before The OZ). Such a crazy change to house music go'ers nowadays.

    Um ... the definition of musician(s) is a person who plays an instrument ... not a varied range of instruments. So again a musician knows not just how to play, but can adapt to play the particular instrument well. Although a Violin and a Guitar are both technically string instruments their played completely different. You can take a bow from a viola/violin on a guitar which'll show off your musician skills as a guitarist (Steve Vai Whitesnake album recording) but doesn't mean u can play violin.

    perfectionists would rather not play than do dis-justice to their work. or he was trying to play hard to get and it didn't work.

  • @eladbari
    @eladbari 11 лет назад

    that's exactly it. musicians are Not "guitarists". If you hand a guitar to a violinist- then he wont know how to play on it. But if you hand out a guitar to a Musician- then hell be able to make sweet sounds out of it...and many other instruments. An acoustic guitar- being the most basic one. So...

    Black on Blonde. He can't explain the title? It's simple. He watched a porn called blacks on blondes and that inspired the name of his album. Hahahaha

  • @eladbari
    @eladbari 11 лет назад

    Nice interview but why can't he play the guitar if hes a musician?

  • @dbrown1762
    @dbrown1762 11 лет назад

    Who sais being a musician you need to play just one instrument or the guitar?? Are you ignorant to musical instruments??

  • @YouAre256ColoursToo
    @YouAre256ColoursToo 11 лет назад

    super ignorant. in the 50's, 60's, probably even today there were classical musicians asking the same thing of rock stars. "that's not music, why can't they play real instruments." "no talent!", etc. musicians are musicians because they make music. hip-hop is music. musicians are not musicians because they play guitar.
