The condenser fan motor “getting stuck” most likely is the defrost cycle…did say it was otherwise working fine
Yep
That Chandelier mounted on top of the unit gave the attic a look of elegance ...Thx
Great spot to put the down spout...
Undersized return for sure. Looks like adding another one somewhere would be fairly easy in that attic.
I would check the defrost, if it's not coming on ice will build up, cuts off, ice melt, pieces hit the fan.
It’s hard switching bags and getting used to finding tools again. Especially if you switch to a smaller bag. I love veto pros I have 4 different ones
Thank GOD you remembered your pair of Waterproof Boots since you were also Filming an Upcoming Episode of Swamp People. 😬👍🙏
Sounds like the turbo props on a Dash 8 plane.
Intereting result Curtis, i look forward to the blower replacement later 🤔 Au
Replaced 5-6 of the ecm condensing fan motors on the newer rheem rhuud units . Fans get noisey, shut off and head pressure sky rockets . 24 volts coming off contactor and high voltage present so fan should never shut off but they do, replace the fans and haven't heard back from customers since. They were all less then 1 yr old too
I think people call a hvac repair company and then run around and find everything they can to put in his way and flood the area wih water.
Thanks for taking us along!
Nice work Curtis.
Help my outdoor unit makes a crazy noise and is smoking! Technican shows up, ma'am it's in defrost, that's steam and the noise is pressures. Customer then makes the comment her old heatpump never did that... uh huh
Yeh, I’ve had those calls
@@HVACGUYI think we all have 😂
“Ahora quiero ver” AM listening 😎
A veces olvido que idioma debo usar
Nice swamp to work in there! Do you carry some hip waders in your truck? 😉😉
the blower motor might be cutting out when blower quits,HPS in and out maybe.usually noise complains.
Most ecm fan motors need to be deenergized till they stop before changing speeds
you need to go back to the veto black out better than that top loading one just my humble opinion keep up the good work
I very well may do that
@HVACGUY My veto blackout is 3 years old, she is having zipper issues... told by my veto tech might be time for replacement.
VETO PRO PAC warrants that its merchandise will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years after retail purchase, exclusive of ordinary wear and tear. This warranty extends ONLY to the original owner and is only valid if your bag was purchased from an authorized Veto Pro Pac dealer.
You gotta put a plenum on that return side even if its a 3" or 4" can so that you get good air volume into that coil. Possibly more return air if return duct size is too small.
What’s the new veto bag you are using now?
my first thought was that she was hearing the compressing when it went into defrost where are you from and what was the temp like there? that return looks very small but not sure what size the unit is
Hes in Georgia
@@JesseDoesHVAC yeah but the nec is national but i get it lol now i am gonna look up the code lol i am curious
👍👍👍
Nice
Is that a Fan or is Disguised and is Really a Helicopter ? 😬👍🙏
I'm betting she hears defrost cycle.
whoever installed that system, should enlarge return to at least 14. inch within proper plenum. I been doing service work for almost 15 years here in Tampa bay. Seen so Many installs with undersized ductwork. Fix the return and check static also. Possible noise during a defrost maybe?
You changed your tool bag?
ME GUSTA TU NUEVA VETO TOOL BAG
Compa un video con explicación para súper hit y supercooling n español compita
Why would you need to use locking caps?
They're code and have been for a year or more, at least where I am.
👍👍😊😊
Another good one. No one likes noise.
That return could definitely use a Plenum I’m from Florida when ever he see system with out plenums just looks off to me
Supply pointed right at the return?
How restrictive was the air filter being used?
Shame no subtitles, even auto-generated
In each video when u check pressures u never say what type of refrigeration ur checking
Nice speaking Spanish
12" flex on a 2 ton system? Add a return air plenum and at least a 14" flex. Gotta bring back what you're putting out.
Yeah that doesn't quite sound right that fan man I'm just saying that just doesn't sound right I don't know man something's not quite right
