I connected with this more because this is something that really happens in India. There have been Naxal attacks on security stations and whatnot. The hospital attack seemed very unlikely because it happened in the middle of a major metro city and something that we do not encounter( the only time I remember was the Cama Hospital on 26/11). That was a better shot episode I agree, but this is something we Indians can relate to more.
Yeah, the hospital attack was definitely a much more unusual occurrence but I think the show recognized that by showing the scandal it created in the news media and the backlash TASC got for it. And ISI was clearly willing to pull off such a brazen act for Mission Zulfigar.
I think Jaby wants to do it in his own way. He definitely wants to add things that he think would have been cool but its important to understand about the character of the series. Raji definitely has a edge over everyone be it Sri as she is highly trained in hand to hand combat. Characters like that police officer lady can never have an edge over Raji. That can just not happen. When we think about Sri, i know it would have been cool if Sri was a James Bond Type but he specialises in spying and handling things. It is quite clear from both the seasons that he is not that guy who will show you some real and quick moves. He is an intelligent Man. I think that is what is expected of him.
Agreed! In fact, DK pointed out in an interview that Shrikant was actually panting after climbing up the stairs when he went to convince Milind to get back to TASC. That makes him more endearing to me atleast because then he is more humane and more like me and less like James Bond, whom I can admire but not relate a lot to!

Yup Shrikant Tiwari Depicts More realistic Spy agent. Whose Primary Job Description is to Collect and Compile the Intel and Transfer it to the Other Department, and that's it. Spy only gives Hand to hand Training as a Self Defense and that too if you are in an Foreign Enemy Land, Otherwise that kind of Fighting skill is work of NSG Commando or Special Forces. In Hollywood Movie, James Depict all-in-one fellow means he is Special Force Commando + Spy agent + Diplomat+ F1-Racer+ Play-Boy etc.
Disagreed. This scene felt right on par with the hospital one. Perhaps, a bit more tension here because the area they are hiding inside is way smaller than the hospital and so, there's more tension of who else is going to die. I really didn't have any idea of Milind's incoming death here. Both of you didn't connect well enough with Milind but a lot of other people including me did connect with Milind and thus, it felt a bit more bad than Pasha's death because Pasha wasn't really shown emotionally bonded with anyone else. Yes, Pasha's death was unexpected but here, the emotional weight was more. Perhaps, it would have been more emotionally affecting scene if they showed a flashback of Milind making promise to Zoya while he died but I guess, the one shot scene was prefernece here. Everyone saw Milind and Zoya's bond. Therefore, it felt really bad. More so because Zoya almost died saving him and she told him to come back alive before joining TASC again. The Family Man series is perhaps the best web series of India because it has the right amount of everthing. Would suggest you to watch Special Ops. Kay Kay Menon is just as amazing as Manoj Bajpayee.
I beg to differ. The one shot police station scene was way better than the hospital scene(season 1). Also, I liked the one shot scene of Daredevil season 2 more than the Hallway fight scene of Season 1. In fact, the one shot scene in Daredevil season 2 is the best one shot scene in the entire series of Daredevil. That’s my opinion. I really liked the camera movements when he was going down the staircases and fighting the bad guys. That’s just my opinion. And one more thing, just wait for the climax of The Family Man s2🔥🔥
I agree with you. I think in the first season people connected to pasha and his death was unexpected, that's why they have that in mind. Where as here they knew some important character will die. I think second season is the best season of any show i have saw.
I think makers did a fantastic job with this sequence. The whole essence of Srikant's character is him being a middle class family man. James bond looks cool but it doesn't happen in real life. How Srikant handled the situation totally resonates with his personality & is in sync with the title of the series. Great work.
It's totally fine... everyone takes different from the same content worldwide.. that's the beauty. The best thing is that they aren't faking.. They are telling what they really feel...i appreciate that.. keep it up jaby👍
After The family man, we need another reaction playlist for the Hotstar's Special Ops starring K.K Menon. Man i love these reactions. Please react to series episode. You should really reduce your reactions on youtuber's videos and react more to some amazing Indian web series. Best Indian web series you can react to TVF Aspirants, Special Ops, Asur, Breathe (season 1), Panchayat, etc.
also to add i think this particular scene is way different from hospital scene. While the hospital scene was more of a planned attack including hide and seeks. On the other hand this scene was more of an direct attack giving them very little time to pull some great stunts
When Srikant calls Suchitra he just feels lucky to be alive and to hear from his family again he just lost an important comrade who saved his life just like Milind saved Zoya in s1, this episode was definitely an emotional rollercoaster towards the end
It's amazing how people are coming out with beautiful and smart arguments about how the characters were portrayed and what they really meant! Such healthy and beautiful discussions! This is proof that the show is a good one!❤❤
This whole episode seemed like a r/whoosh for Jaby and Syntel. Not connecting to Milind, unrealistic expectation of Shrikant as James Bond and that unfair comparison of the oner with other hollywood oners. Very frustrating especially when I loved this episode wholeheartedly. To listen to someone say this great episode was "ok" is just infuriating! LoL :D
Sri is an analyst, he has a brilliant mind. He has basic fight training which is needed to be an agent, he is nowhere near as physically fit or even strong as the other agents like Millind or even Raji.
29:23 it feels they did it to make it seem more realistic. So they are in the South Indian state, near a coastal area where fishing nets are very common and yes one can find fishing nets kept in the open, it's common there.
23:51 yes. And also Manoj ji saw Milind got shot and was moving towards him in shock that he might be dead and suddenly he is hit with a gun by another person. So a lot of is going in his brian. As soon as he saw Milind on the floor he was in a shock and he was broken from inside again at that moment and then suddenly a man hits him with a gun. And it might be that they wanted to show that Milind even after getting shot had the courage and strength, that he gathered strength save Srikant; and by this trying to make audience feel more for Milind's loss.
Im really disappointed with this reaction. 1st , it was really good scene. Hospital scene was very different bcz the tasc team wasnt aware of the attack at first. Here it was well known they were being attacked. And milind was very loved character. Everyones connected to him here. It was very emotional. 2nd We all know Srikant isn't a fight winner. Hes smart and other things. But i agree the fishing net scene was off putting.
If I compare impact of Milind’s death with Pasha then Milind’s death was certainly off putting in this season. Writers couldn't handle his PTSD story better. I cared about Milind in the first season more than this one.
@@nirabhra-neel9863 hey comparing deaths i mean they had similar importance in the series. I am talking about impact of their death and how sad or shocking we feel after some character's death. Pasha's death was a shocking point and Milind’s death was actually expected because we knew Srikant and jk won't be dying so he is the only one who will be dying but for Milind’s death i didn't feel connected when he died because of the way it was shown and he was a pretty important character. Just like jaby and syntell said i also cried after watching Srikant's reaction on it when he called his wife. Milind’s character had more potential actually so his death scene could have been better.
Everyone must be wondering how Jaby gets pleased? Gosh, he is very demanding The whole discussion centered on the fight sequence and how to prove it it is not great. He went on to prove his point to the extent that he didn’t get orgasm.
Every time you guys said that “It’s been a long in this season we saw a long shot” I was screaming inside, “You guys go fast check the freaking 6th episode now”😂❤️
The main difference between the hospital scene and this scene was the expectations!! We didn't expected a that level of one shot scene that moment, but here we were seeking for one in every episode. That made a lot of difference.
Keeping the camera work and action choreography aside, the reason people connected more with the hospital scene is because we spent 5 episodes in the hospital. And this was like for only 10 minutes.
losing milind was like losing your younger brother and losing pasha was like losing your oldest friend I guess that will summarize why most people felt his death. in the show and that was the reason he was so emotional after losing milind
That's the thing: srikant is not James bond, he is a normal guy who happened to work at TASC. He is being put into these combat situations where he uses his cleverness and wits to handle it
This one was the most powerful episode of this season. May be because of the huge social differences between India and US you people could not connect to it that much.
Sunny Hinduja, the guy who played Milind (who got shot) had become a fan favourite with a TVF show called Aspirants. So his death does hit hard to the Indian audience!
Srikant Tiwari taking steps instead of sliding, and you are expecting him in a physical combat... You didn't even get the basic choice made for the character till season 2. Please get Achara.
Milind's death scene was more heartbreaking than the Agent who died in Season 1, maybe you connected better with the agent dude due to any numerous reason but for Indians it was a whole different thing.
Love your discussion on the series, Jaby. The only thing that irked me was Syntell not saying Manoj's name right. I mean it's 2nd seasons episode 6. About time we do justice to the lead and atleast get the name right.
I have watched both seasons. Samantha did an epic job, no doubt at all and Manoj bajpai, as always. But my personal best scenes are still the CAR SCENE WHERE THEY WERE TAKING BEEF and THE HOSPITAL SCENE of SEASON 1.
A minor detail I noticed is that in Season 1, all one-shot scenes were filmed by a satble cam, as all of them were in familiar surroundings. But in this season, being on unfamiliar terrains, their is a sense of chaos present, which is why this time all the one shot were by a handheld(as their was a shakiness in the footage)
They didn't want to up the ante. This was real for the people who have experienced it in those sort of regions. The hospital scene can be better connected by the western audience, but the whole series does a very good job of making an Indian connect with the show.
I agree with Jaby and Syntell that we couldn't connect with Milind. The only reason people were rooting for the character because of the actor's work they recently saw in TVF Aspirants.
The hospital scene in season 1 is stellar but it is also more Mission impossible stuff(kinda)This is more awesome because it's more than likely these fights go down like this in real life.Manoj Bajpai Sir's character is a person who knows how to survive but not a person with training in extreme martial arts. The strength in his punches tell you his look is deceptive. The policewoman is at a disadvantage when she is fighting Raji ,a fully trained, filled with rage n skilled Rebel fighter who has nothing to lose either way but she is definitely brave and has heart so she is trying her level best to do whatever she can to slow or stop Samantha's Raji even if there's a possibility of injury or probable death. There is skill in the way Raji navigates ways, lanes n buildings but fear n pandemonium works differently in an ordinary setting n this is hostile territory where they don't want to hurt or kill anyone who is innocent or not that dangerous (rebel territories)So the slight sloppiness is intentional because of the need to be discreet.Milind's descent to his ultimate death is great because though he get's hurt , there's a half chance he could be alive along with dread...when he finally dies, adding to it the heroic act of saving Srikant , there's just sadness n emptiness amplified by the sadness faced by Srikant n his colleagues for someone who died way too young n who had just come back from a horrific ordeal🙏Fishing nets in india especially in South india are strong so that's actually a brilliant idea n one trope used in action movies. This is one sequence that just trumped previous episodes.Loved it actually❤️Understand that except for some police officials all the others are not actually known to anyone n everyone. So everything could be at base level n not like a usual action movie Even with training, people react differently in real life which is why Pasha didn't duck or fall to the ground when the elevator opened.
Finally..! You spoke my mind. Even I felt that about Milind’s death. It wasn't emotional for me and I didn't connect with him in this season. Whole hospital scene was much much better than this police station scene. I am glad you pointed out that thing. I am disappointed with this season if compared with the first season. It doesn't have twists and turns like the first one.
@@randomhuman97 you know right everyone is watching season 2 because of the season 1 so it is quite expected people would like to see twists and turns like first season in this season 2. I didn't feel season 2 was bad or anything. I felt it had pretty straightforward story which was quite predictable unlike season 1. Please elaborate first season was trash!
I am so glad you pointed out these things when everyone is going on praising it like anything. I also had same reaction like yours. Even i felt everything in this episode is good but it wasn't great. Same i felt for entire season actually.
15:41 yeah they should have done it in few cuts not a oner. But I suppose doing a oner in a furnished building is little less difficult than doing it in a Jungle type of environment in a old building probably built during British Era.
I think this scene was more realistic than hospital scene. In hospital scene there were trained commandos. And in this scene untrained state police with very old guns. It is very realistic.
That hospital scene and police station scene are different scenarios. S1 are hard core trained terrorist. Whereas S2 are trained terrorist but with 5 years peaceful life how can one compare both. Note: this LTTE group is a terrorist group with army, navy, airforce In real life. Planes smuggled from czech company fighter trainers.
Imagine watching a realistic show and expecting James Bond like "cool stuff", Matrix moves etc, because those are very realistic films /s. The whole point of the show is lost on Jaby.

Whenever we say what type of Work they do so he say " Dont know".
Milind's death was most heartbreaking scene
That's where all men cried😢😢
@@anirudhkohli75 literally everybody cried
There should have been close up shot of Milind...I did not feel it
Sandeep bhaiya 😢
Pasha death was a shock. Milind was not a shock but sadness
This one is more connected than the hospital scene, this one looks more raw and real.
Now I am Expecting abhijeet and daya to be in TASC force in season 3
Here we have the father of ss Rajamouli.. Guys
Ooh the climax, spoiler alert
My only issue is how Muthu handled the gun while shooting rajis plane
I agree with you. I think in the first season people connected to pasha and his death was unexpected, that's why they have that in mind. Where as here they knew some important character will die. I think second season is the best season of any show i have saw.
DD one-take fight sequences.. season 3>1>2
@@paraenterprises his death was totally unexpected
For last 5- 6 days, daily morning I am waiting for jaby's family man reactions:))
Seems your mornings don't start with having any zealous goal 🙈
More than Jaby, I'm excited for syntell reaction!!!
@Japan Japanese no i am having my JEE tutions... while in break I wattch it
I don't think Manoj's character is much of a fighter...he is more good with guns and brain
I think makers did a fantastic job with this sequence. The whole essence of Srikant's character is him being a middle class family man. James bond looks cool but it doesn't happen in real life. How Srikant handled the situation totally resonates with his personality & is in sync with the title of the series. Great work.
True. James bond is meant for movies only . .would've made this more of tiger man than family man 🤣🤣
It's totally fine... everyone takes different from the same content worldwide.. that's the beauty.
Special ops is brilliant apart from the first terrorist attack sequence....
Good list.. Some of my favourite web series. Criminal Justice S1 is also good.
@@everythingofyoutube8440 Yeah. It has one of the best cinematography in Indian web series and a great storyline in spy espionage genre.
@@davishek7 Thanks Man. Actually criminal justice is remake of 'The night of' (2016) series so they might have already seen it.
In my personal opinion, except Asur, all are good
Jaby : who is watching..?
Me : that's how intelligence works..😎😎
also to add i think this particular scene is way different from hospital scene.
That one shot police station fight scene was epic 🔥🔥
Pasha in season 1, now Milind in season 2. Greatly moving death scenes
Pasha death was a shock but milind was more sadness
Jk should not be killed in 3rd
It's amazing how people are coming out with beautiful and smart arguments about how the characters were portrayed and what they really meant! Such healthy and beautiful discussions! This is proof that the show is a good one!❤❤
This whole episode seemed like a r/whoosh for Jaby and Syntel. Not connecting to Milind, unrealistic expectation of Shrikant as James Bond and that unfair comparison of the oner with other hollywood oners. Very frustrating especially when I loved this episode wholeheartedly. To listen to someone say this great episode was "ok" is just infuriating! LoL :D
I didn't connect to Milind too....I think people are connecting aspirants with family man unnecessarily
This episode was great I didn’t think Milind will die
Fun fact : the entire police station fight was just a one take scene🔥
Nope. Multiple shots stitched together to make it look like one take. Much like 1917.
@@MedhajitChoudhury from single take I mean that no re takes just one take needed for every scene and that came out awesome
@@avinashthakur4594 Got your point, brother. My bad!
I again clicked faster than the speed of light…
you're the OG first comment 🏅
Please review the birth 10000 movie
Yeah...so fast that jaby was adjusting the camera
l
you > light > sound
I liked this scene very much...For me it's better than hospital scene of season 1...Though Pasha was my favourite character...
@@v27027 pasha death was a shock. Milind was more of sadness than shock .
@@v27027 Both the characters and circumstances were different, I don't think we can compare their deaths in any way.
Lol I’m not sure disappointed is the right word. I think you mean disagree
Syntell asked for a one shorter he got one 🔥🔥 and some more of it is incoming 🔥🔥
Yup.. Final episode
Everyone must be wondering how Jaby gets pleased? Gosh, he is very demanding
The whole discussion centered on the fight sequence and how to prove it it is not great. He went on to prove his point to the extent that he didn’t get orgasm.
true
Every time you guys said that “It’s been a long in this season we saw a long shot”
I was screaming inside, “You guys go fast check the freaking 6th episode now”😂❤️
The first five episodes were better in acting, writing and story telling . . Unless you're watching just for shooting and entertainment
@@randomhuman97 yeah man, I loved the whole show just the long take I wanted them to see but seems like they under-appreciated it😑
The main difference between the hospital scene and this scene was the expectations!!
We didn't expected a that level of one shot scene that moment, but here we were seeking for one in every episode. That made a lot of difference.
6:24 Rebels conveyed the message to Raji through bird like voices.
I had the same reaction as Jaby when JK was at gun point 🤣
that police station scene was one shot!!
Why to compare two fight scenes...., just take it as a story situation.. . 😅
That's the thing: srikant is not James bond, he is a normal guy who happened to work at TASC. He is being put into these combat situations where he uses his cleverness and wits to handle it
Last time I was this early Albus Percival Wolfric Brian Dumbledore was still the head of transfiguration
and Tom Riddle was still torturing other kids in Wool's Orphanage
And Hagrid's human father & gaintess mother was still together
Many people including me have loved this episode
This one was the most powerful episode of this season. May be because of the huge social differences between India and US you people could not connect to it that much.
Bruh Milind dying really broke my heart, It was too much to take in, But just like in S1 when Pasha dies, Its sudden and hits you out of nowhere
Sunny Hinduja, the guy who played Milind (who got shot) had become a fan favourite with a TVF show called Aspirants. So his death does hit hard to the Indian audience!
Was waiting for your comments about the chase scene and the moment when JK was caught by Rajji and it seemed that JK might die.
Because Chellam was one of them... He knows all of their secrets
This episode made me cry mannn
Even in his last moments, he saved Shrikant
Milind yarrrrrrrrr😭
Jaby: It is like losing a chess piece..
*Samay Raina laughing from distance*
Srikant Tiwari taking steps instead of sliding, and you are expecting him in a physical combat... You didn't even get the basic choice made for the character till season 2. Please get Achara.
Why everything need to be compared from previous session or Hollywood
@The commentarr •look with your glasses on i have also written from previous session & nobody is insecure except you for giving me 6 line explanation
@Impersonal Immigrant okay, so in comparison with me you are a dumb person.
@Impersonal Immigrant bro i am just saying everything should not be like the last season
@@nocap2450 season*
Milind (Sunny Hinduja) his death in this season after watching TVF's Aspirants is a big heartbreak for all the guys who watched both series. 💔
Milind's death scene was more heartbreaking than the Agent who died in Season 1, maybe you connected better with the agent dude due to any numerous reason but for Indians it was a whole different thing.
This reaction is more of Hospital scene in Season 1 Vs. Police station attack scene in this episode.
Srikant is a senior analyst . He is pretty much the antithesis of James Bond. In reality , spies are very normal people with normal fighting skills.
9:00 what a emotional scene 🥺 and i can see jaby also emotional at that time
Love your discussion on the series, Jaby. The only thing that irked me was Syntell not saying Manoj's name right. I mean it's 2nd seasons episode 6. About time we do justice to the lead and atleast get the name right.
Agreed! Everytime he says it, sounds like he's saying MANAAJ, kinda like Nicki Minaj 😐
Even Jaby crass analogy also includes his naughty thoughts 😏😏
Raji is 100% correct and for me she is the hero🤩
Chellam knows more than Google
Chellam 'Sir'
I have watched both seasons. Samantha did an epic job, no doubt at all and Manoj bajpai, as always. But my personal best scenes are still the CAR SCENE WHERE THEY WERE TAKING BEEF and THE HOSPITAL SCENE of SEASON 1.
The moment when Sri calls his wife, all teared up, and said - nothing, it hit me like a train! 🔥🧨🚂💔❤🩹
Out of everyone, Raji had a really sad story so she knew Srikant's sad story was just acting.
As jaby said, season 1 hospital one take scene is unmatchable for season 2
This episode was an epic episode....Superb cinematography and fight sequence
They didn't want to up the ante. This was real for the people who have experienced it in those sort of regions. The hospital scene can be better connected by the western audience, but the whole series does a very good job of making an Indian connect with the show.
@32:27 bcoz thats what "Family Man" do jaby... thats what we all have done to protect our families.. shield them...
Syntell koay reāction is best
His a emotional man🙂
As always, good discussion. Always fun watching something good wih you both.
Sandeep bhaiya made a mistake leaving his government job, he lost his life...
Thank God, you upload your reactions one episode a day. Else, this too would have been over in a single day, just like the "Family Man S2"
JABY : Srikanth & Syntell : JK ♥️
This sequence was shot in one take. 👌👌👌👌
Your discussions are the best.
He's not paranoid jaby ... he's a RAW agent...that's the way they do it !!
S1 was trash. S2 family man is more watchable.
Raj and DK be like "ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?" ... Despite covid, They got such a good action scene.. And Jaby be like its was "Ok"...
The reaction is a real gem
Wait for the last episode you will see more of Manoj sir. Last episode is just amazing 🔥🔥🔥
Imagine watching a realistic show and expecting James Bond like "cool stuff", Matrix moves etc, because those are very realistic films /s. The whole point of the show is lost on Jaby.
Chellam: Keep washing your hands.
*not 2 seconds later: Stop wasting water!!
