    My ornithology class saw one hovering over campus today in Memphis. When our prof saw it he said, “Holy shit!” He had never seen one this far north. Cool stuff

    We have a female flying over in Roundhill ky has been here for 2 days hunting in field in front of house. I’ve never seen one this far north before. But we have been watching it. It’s beautiful to see it hover and dive

    We noticed a few pairs of these in the early 90's. Last year, I counted around 24, hunting together. They like our neck of the woods and they are fun to watch. They are following the tombigbee river at least 100 miles inland from Mobile, Ala,

    7 years ago our club birders #CLOACA accompanies migration and nesting from Elanoides forficatus the city of Caratinga in southeastern Brazil. they come by here, always around the 20th of August and remained until February 20

    we see the birds in the spring on the Texas gulf coast around Houston and Beaumont. I have seen a couple this year.
