Bro , Government has already increased capital fund per project from the past's 10 crore to 50 crore .. and Please be patient and optimistic Gov will increase budget from time to time
I've a question sir. Why don't ot we use the existing KMGT in our OPVs or small displacement ships, like the ASW-SWCs? Is 12 mw of power not enough for them?
𝗪 𝗥 𝗢 𝗡 𝗚. Kalyani Strategic Systems acquired 51% stake in 𝗭𝗼𝗿𝘆𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗲𝗸𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮 Pvt. Ltd., not the Ukrainian parent. Especially since India is supporting Russia, Ukraine Parliament would have blocked it - just like they did when China furtively acquired majority stocks in the Motor Sich - the aircraft engine manufacturer. (That was done at the behest of the US.)
A few observations: 1) For a nation like Bharat, which has no robust design/test facilities (in 2024) to sink an asset that could provide some relief as a testing platform is questionable. Does not show urgency. Does not show seriousness 2) I like the aggressiveness of the timeline. 30 months. Go get it done.
Will the 110 kn engine will also get it's power reduced in Indian condition or it will be 110kn in Indian condition and will get increased in western countries.
the later case, No logic in calling it 110KN if it can't generate that much in actual use. We won't go to west to operate our jets, so why care about what power we might get in their conditions?
@@asmodeus3084 current f414 engine produce 98 kn in western countries, but it got reduced to 88 to 90 in Indian conditions . So therefore if our engine will produce 110 in Indian condition than AMCA will get 22 kn thrust increase per engine . And if not than it will get 11 kn thrust increase. I'm able surely tell that f414 engine thrust get reduced in Indian condition, but comparison of Tejas mk 2 and griphen E weapons load , empty weight and stuff .
It will be a flat rated engine which means constant power delivery under all conditions of altitude, temperature.. etc This is part of the reason Fadec engines are so hard to develop and only a handful of countries (3 in all) have managed it. China is not one of those 3.
@@AlphaDefense I'm thinking in terms of funding. i.e. If more funds can be allocated to the Kaveri engine development to pay for for engine testing facilities and an aircraft. Stuff like a supersonic wind testing tunnel, an high altitude test platform.. etc. The private sector marine ship building industry would have a bunch of funds they could invest into the Kaveri project. Its better than the govt having to pay for everything as there are so many other commitments.
Do they have any plans to also develope similar engines for Tanks ? In one video I saw that even American M1 tanks are powered by gas turbine engines. 😂Just imagine Arjum MK## with kaveri engine
Engine is turbine ok, but how will you increase the frictional speed in water, when the water force is pushed by the rotor backside, the ship moves, like f35 fighter jet , Indian navy warships should have vertical water pushing rotor system in middle and front which can move faster the ships in water , Indian manufacturer of war ships should go through a detailed analysis in 3d and should invent modern warships technology
India should increase Research and Development in Defense sector to face China and Pakistan together in a war

Wrong intro! 😄Alpha defence hindi channel intro used. Anyways great video 👍
I think you have missed to say the Engine power requirement of IN warships.
It will vary.
4 x GE gas turbine engines are used in the Vikrant ✌️ carrier.

Hurrey👍
But the diesel engine would still be imported from Germany
What about the D in CODAG
Bit by bit, it will all be indogenized.
🙂
Sir, please check the deal of bharat forge and zorya mashproekt for marine turbines. Bharat forge bought 51 percent of share
Have BF researched and produced anything or simply imported the engines?

It विल take atleast 25 years.

@@shocktrap2253 you are mostly correct. Yes.

Can this project be combined with the engine needed for the Tejas, TEDBF or AMCA ??
The high thrust engine that are working on can be re purposed

That will be too fuel ⛽️ hungry. Americans are also replacing them with diesel engines
