I am so curious to read The Book That Wouldn't Burn!!! It sounds so good to me and the cover always catches my eye!!! I hope this list goes well for you!
When you get to it we will have to discuss what you think. It is definitely a slower paced read, but the pay off is oh so good! Can't wait to hear your thoughts. Thank you!
Really looking forward to seeing how these predictions pan out 👀 If you get zero DNFs, it’s a win 😂 And ahh Edna Fisher is still on my mental list to try!
Fantasticland sounds so good! I have added to my tbr. I agree with Romance.. my favourite ones are always something that has something that is experienced in real life, or are funny. No romance is ever as straight forward or fits the pattern that a certain group of romances does. It's not that I hate the fluffy ones, it's more that it takes me out of the story when it doesn't feel real to some degree and then I get annoyed. My recent 5 star predictions have mostly been spot on (Evocation, and The Way of Kings). One was a complete and epic fail for me though... Ocean's Echo ended up a 2 star for me. I loved the first book so much that I was sure the second book would be as good.
I'm excited to hear your thoughts on Fantasticland Laura. I 100% agree with your assessment of romance. Oh my gosh!!!! You gave The Way of Kings 5 stars!!!! 🥳 I also need to read Evocation at some point. Bummer about Ocean's Echo. It's always a bummer for a sequel to disappoint. Although at least that opens up a spot in your series TBR. 🤣
I’m always interested to see how these work out! Oh no TWO dnfs. That’s unfortunate. I hope the next round is very five star filled and without dnfs. Good luck!
Most of my potential 5 star books are very chunky, and I've been dragging my feet. I have a goal for July to get to two or three of them - maybe Ashes of the Sun, Mistborn, Ruin of Kings, etc. and at some point I need to read the Will of the Many (but likely not in July).
Oh yes those chonky reads! I think you will really enjoy Ruin of Kings. I would suggest immersion reading it as the audio is very good. I can't wait to hear your thoughts on Mistborn and Ashes of the Sun! I could see waiting on Will of the Many. The second book doesn't even have a release date just yet (I don't think). You've got plenty of time. I hope you find some chonkers that you love!
@@Danni.Dabbles Now I'm debating tackling Way of Kings instead as a readalong - it would take me the whole month. That and I'm part of Nicole's Green Rider readalong - we're finishing book 2 soon and the remaining ones are 600-900pgs (but so fun!)
@@tennille9dawn Ahhh!! I have to hear your thoughts if you get to The Way of Kings! It is so worth the page count. I want to know your thoughts on Kaladin. Have fun with the Green Rider readalong!
I have access to it now if you want to do a late June buddy read, but I'm also game to wait until next month if that suits you better. There surprisingly wasn't a waitlist for it at my library (don't know if that is a good thing 🤣). Let me know what you think.
The dragons really aren’t even a major part of Fireborne like at all, not nearly as much as fourth wing- I was pitched the same way and i don’t agree whatsoever
It’s always sad when a 5 star prediction becomes a dnf. I’ve heard great things about the audiobook for Fantasticland. I’m planning on listening to it this year 🎡 I hope you get some 5 stars!
A Novel Love Story? I would have never guessed 😊
I do love these videos. Good luck and happy reading.
I know right? Who am I?
Thanks Lynn! Happy reading to you as well!
Rakesfall sounds so good!! Can’t wait to hear your thoughts!
It just sounds so unique to me. We shall see. I'll let you know!

I’ve heard great things about Fantasticland. It’s on my TBR too. Fingers crossed it delivers for both of us.
I hope so as well. I've heard the audio is really good so my plan is to immersive read it. Happy reading!

True! Zero DNF's is ideal. We shall see how good I am at my own recommendations to myself. And yes, you need Edna Fisher in your life!
