Why is it ok for brands like maybelline to Dupe the Naked palletes but its not ok for Makeup Revolution to dupe palettes. Some of us can not stomach spending $50 on eyeshadow.
I own the naked palettes (2&3), and have tried the makeup revolution dupes, and trust me, you are getting great quality for the price with the makeup revolution dupes.
I feel like this was a biased video against Makeup Revolution simply because they carry a lot of dupes. They have a lot of great products, and definitely more than shown here.
Sometimes people love to buy for the cute packaging they just do, I do sometimes so I love they can do that and you don't need to splash out lots of money!
For me I think Makeup Revolution is doing a great job. It creates similar products to those that are already in market; high end or drugstore. And they do a great job, their products works and at some cases excels the high end products. So Why not? I mean, it just goes to show that you can spend less on a product n have the same effect so why waste money on high end. I dont see why people have a problem with it being a knock off or dupe brand. I think it the Robin Hood of makeup brands :D

We have a very different view through the camera than what she sees in real life. She’s also the person who’s feeling the consistency of it AND she says ALL THE TIME that this is how it personally works on her skin. If you don’t want her honest review then don’t watch. She’s telling it like it is.
Tati, I love you, but you barely gave MUR a fair chance! They have tons of palettes yet you kinda had a blah opinion about the brand as a whole from the get go. Now, go shimmy your beautiful self over to Ulta and pick up the Soph X eyeshadow palette, maybe an eyeshadow palette with dark jewel tones (they have a few), and grab the new foundations and concealers. Make it more of an all around review! You won’t regret it and your viewers will greatly appreciate it. Thank you. 😘❤️

I literally didn't understand why she was bashing the first palette by comparing it to the jaclyn hill morphe palette. It made no sense as she knows the makeup revolution is a drug store brand, and this isn't even meant to be a high end vs drugstore dupe comparison for her to be bringing in other higher end brands to bash the quality of drugstore brands like makeup revolution, so I kept telling her through the screen to please stick to reviewing the brand's product titled in the video. A lot of american youtubers unnecessarily bash makeup revolution by comparing it to high end brand products that aren't even intended to be dupes but just follow a trend, and those youtubers don't do that with other drugstore brands, so why with makeup revolution.
Sophie didn’t copy any highlighter palette. It’s highlighter shades, there only are as many out there, not like anyone can come up with a palette full of shades that have never been seen before. Well, I mean, she can only test so many products to give thorough reviews on. Since she's constantly given new stuff it would make sense that she would try what catches her eye first, then test what people ask for.
There is such a disconnect between what American RUclipsrs think of Makeup Revolution vs what British/Europeans do that I don't know if they have different formulas or something. Literally all of my eyeshadow palettes save a select few are Makeup Revolution, those highlighters? All over my face, nothing of that dragging the foundation business. I literally just pat it softly onto the skin and it blends beautifully. The concealer? Freaking AMAZING. I don't even know, is it only that you guys are biased because you're more likely to be promoted by the brands that they dupe or are the formulas genuinely different over there cause I don't get it, I just don't.
I never really thought about that but you are so right. I LOVE so many of MRs products as do many UK youtubers and it really confuses me when many US youtubers ‘bash’ their products.
Lots of known brands copies each others ideas/products anyways, I could actually list a few, is not that deep, in the end of the day is just makeup, plus you’ve selected the weakest products from the range.

They just chase the hype sometimes. So, it looks suspicious but looking at the bigger picture they do bring out some good products worth checking out
Tbh I hate that Makeup Revolution gets so much hate for the dupes. Like it’s very hard to be original nowadays since so many things have been done. I’m just grateful as not everyone can afford these high end expensive products and for makeup revolution to provide us with similar palettes at less than half the cost it’s great.
I'm sorry to break it out to all of you but not everyone can afford Jacyln Hill and how in the right mind are you even comparing drugstore brand with a high end one? I have a lot of high end product and MUR as well and hand down, MUR is doing absolutely stunning job at making their products. Also, the students who try to save even $5, spending $10 - $15 is actually a lot of money and thank you for choosing weakest products. Have a good day.
She can because some drugstore products actually do compare very well with high end ones. The standard from drug store products definitely has increased as well as their quality. Its definitely fair to compare a drug store product with a high end one because high end brands are kind of the standard of quality.
Revolution do this because they know there is a lot of people out there, (like me) that can’t afford high end or more expensive makeup, but want us to get almost the same sort of feeling as high end, I’m a single mum I can’t afford to spend nearly £40 on the morphe Jaclyn hill palette, and I have more needed things to save my money towards, so revolution slays my life, I love them ( and you Tati lol) ❤️
Makeup Revolutions strong suit is their highlighters and face palettes (blush, bronzer and highlighter palettes) which doesn't dupe anything. Their new concealer is terrific also and their newer iconic eyeshadow palettes are fantastic. You shading them for "duping" high end brands is quite ridiculous, silly and foolish. A brand making affordable options for those that don't want to waste $50 on one product is a good thing. Every brand does it in every category. Have you never bought a store brand before? Target brand says right on packaging what its "compared" to. Nobody owns colors, so get over it. Not everyone wants to waste money on makeup that they can be saving for the future when you can buy the SAME Thing for a better cost. What you should be bothered by is these high end brands ridiculously over charging for a product that another brand can produce for a quarter of the price. High end company's are ripping people off, its obvious. If they don't want to worry about being copied mabe they should lower their price tag to where it should be...
Literally, makeup revolution follows trends and don't always necessarily intend on duping, also there is no such thing as unique colour combos when it comes to eyeshadow palettes anymore, so you are going to find many palettes throughout different brands with the same exact colour selection. Tati needs to stop bashing makeup revoltion based on this and talk about the quality.
Diany Martinez that's fine you dont have to buy but the truth is makeup revolution cater to a market who can't afford to spend £40 on a palette I mean that's an insane amount of money and I know for Tati that's nothing as she is a make-up artist who's job is to review make-up from both high end and low end markets but this is too much. I would much rather buy 4 or 5 or even more less expensive products for 40 pounds than one high end products.

Morphe is not vegan and their after sales service is really bad. I do agree with Tati, for someone who’s used both, morphe does blend better but MUR does have many other perks, so it’s win some lose some.

It's a great pallet, amazing crease colours, a white a black and a few unique metallic ones. She's a great RUclipsr and really hit the nail with that pallet and really affordable!

Yes, I get why you say that you'd rather buy a morphe palette, but I think many of us just want to create nice eye looks while not spending more than 20 dollars for makeup and that's when Makeup Revolution comes in. I am all for good dupes.

Tati, before comparing Makeup Revolution palettes to the JH Morphe palette, remember that the JH Morphe palette is produced differently than other Morphe palettes! The cheaper 35 pan morphe palettes are a lot shittier.

But does it really matter that much? People saying it’s unoriginal, and yes maybe it is, but they do have products that aren’t dupes. Not everyone can afford to spend over £20 for an eyeshadow palette, I know I can’t. And if that means slightly lower quality then fine.
Not if your buying from Australia. When you take shipping into account, that jh palette is close to $70 Aus. The MUR is $35 inc international shipping. I really like the jh palette, but that is how much an urban decay palette is here.

Make up revolution is an awesome affordable brand. And yes there's a few dupes but sometimes those dupes are all we can get in the uk. I wish I could afford the high end inspirations but realistically, I can only afford the MUR options sometimes. Xx

It totally separates on my nose and forehead and that never happens to me and it transfers so much but it's well priced so I'd try it if you're curious
The awkward moment when a "beauty guru" says to use a Jaclyn Hill palette because it's better quality without realising that Revolution use the exact same pans as Morphe (and BH Cosmetics, and Crown who have the EXACT SAME PALETTE called OMG as the one she put her name on) who made the Jaclyn Hill palette with.. the exact same pans. Can't believe you didn't at least MENTION the concealer. I definitely think you should do another Makeup Revolution review, with more products. They do have a lot of nice stuff for the price, however more times than not, it's a DIRECT dupe from another brand.

Bethany Chan i have a question. So my concealer is a shade or a shade and 1/2 lighter than my actual skin tone and makes my foundation a little lighter too. Is it still ok to wear or will i look like a ghost? Or what could i do to make it look better?
Gianna Toth If you are only using that concealer on the highlighting parts of your face (cheekbones, under eyes, center of forehead, bridge of nose) then that’s exactly what you want. If you feel like it’s blending too much into your foundation and making your whole face lighter, then use less concealer. As for powder, some brands and types just make you look pale or have flashback. That’s just something you’ll have to test with and see what works for you.
Yeah, I agree with Dwight about using the lighter concealer for highlighting your face if you're scared it's too light. Or if you want to balance it out, I'd use bronzer to give my face some dimension to not look like a ghost. Hope that helps?

I just love all makeup - I'll buy anything regardless of brand or price, I'll try anything. As a former owner of the original Huda Rose Gold palette and now the Remastered version, I can confirm that MUR Chocolate Rose Gold palette is better than the pair of them! Yes they do a hell of a lot of dupes but some of them can actually be better than the original. I've heard the same things said about their Mint Chocolate palette compared to the Subculture palette, though I don't have either of those as a shade range doesn't appeal.
Like you can definitely make it work, it just takes more time and effort that may not be necessary with other palettes of the same price and better quality.
Do you guys think she was being a little bit unfair with Makeup Revolution.. When KKW beauty came out with the glitter eyeshadow thing that has the same packaging as Stilla, she wasnt complaining, but with the MUR palette she showed disatisfaction towards the fact that she thought it was similar to Morphe....
*Tati, I was really hoping that you were going to share their new Fast Base Foundation Stick since I am totally in love with it!* I like it better than the Makeup Forever HD Stick and also the Hourglass so if you guys get the chance to pick it up, do it! I did a video on it a couple of weeks ago and it’s just so natural looking, feels amazing on my skin and gives flawless coverage. Their colors are the exact match of their concealers so finding your shade is a no brained too. They also have another highlighter trio that’s stunning as well and the packaging on it is so pretty. Please do a review though on this foundation so that everyone can see how good it is but in the mean time they can go watch mine if you’d like.
Yeah, that's what I was waiting for too! I'll watch your's now - but completely unrelated to you - I've seen so many reviews where the product was beyond hyped, way too harsh lighting, no follow ups, etc...I can't trust someone that keeps going on about how great every single product is, I just want a good honest review. And I really trust Tati with that. We might not see eye to eye on every product but she shares her honest views and that's valuable to me.
I got the makeup stick today, it highlighted all my textured skin and didn't cover redness or spots. It's fine if you've got perfect skin like Tati but for a normal human being it's not great
I’m extremely honest in my reviews and you’ll see in many of my videos I’ve talked about my new love affair with the Fast Base Stick! lol Just to let you know my skin is normal to dry and I can get a bit oily in my T zone later in the day. I’m 57 and this doesn’t settle into my fine lines and wrinkles either. I use Tati’s favorite pore primer, the Tarte Timeless smoothing powder too along with the Touch in Sol No POREblem primer. I just love how creamy this is and it covers everything with one layer. I also like full to a high medium cover for my foundation as well. I hope that helps you understand where I’m at as far as my preference for a foundation but I was blown away by this foundation!
Did you use a pore minimizing primer with it Lydia? I do and I don’t have any problems with it showing any texture. I also have redness in my skin and it covers up perfectly for me. This just goes to show how a foundation can be so good for one person and not for another.
i know that makeup revolution does copy A LOT of brands but their products are totally worth the money and they make dupes because not EVERYONE can afford 49$/50$ morphe products .. and at the end of the day what really matters is THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT, so i will definitly go for a dupe Which Is Of Good Quality rather than spending millions on makeup ;)
Um, SO MANY BRANDS MAKE DUPES. Not just MR. Why is this so bad? And honestly, Revolution (that's their name now, not makeup revolution) may have similar looking items, but I think it's just a coincidence. And they're my favourite brand - they have soooo many amazing products and they're affordable. So yeah.

The foundation stick is bad if you have texture on your skin, it highlights all your imperfections, doesn't really dry down even with a powder, and isn't full enough coverage to cover spots and redness.
I love my makeup revolution cream blush palette(because I have dry skin), and I also enjoy my Soph X eyeshadow palette because it's pretty good for the price. Your input on brands and products always means the world to me Tati! Thank you for all of your hard work to make sure we get the most bang for our buck!

Your opinion is fine but I got the feeling you didn’t even want to like their stuff... we don’t all have loads of money to spend on the original expensive products so dupes are what we live for! All drugstore brands are basically “knock offs” as you call them, so people who cannot afford the higher end brands can still try to achieve the looks that they want.

Well that's a really heavy discussion, something people, work really, really hard in the creation of a product, make the art, the concept, the formula, and the a company like makeup revolution comes and launch "dupes" that are essentially, the same but lower quality, so yes, is not fair. Don't get me wrong, I don't have the money for the originals, but I wouldn't use it in a "dupe" like that
people think it's just bad cuz companies are making money off of copies and aren't original and the companies they copy from could be losing money, but i'm completely with you. I'm going to spend $45-$50 on something i can get for half that, that possibly works a lot better.

Some people can't justify spending a ridiculous amount of money on expensive makeup, so I think MUR is a great brand, I personally think you're being really petty and stuck-up.
I like the MUR highlight drops more than the cover fx ones 😍 they don’t move my foundation around at all, just as blinding and they’re much easier to work with. And that price too 👌🏼
First off, many of MR's original products never make it ti the US. I love MOST of Makeup Revolution's items, but they really are copies'. When Kat von D went super crazy over the Eye Contour palette, I knew they were on to something especially if she couldn't ignore it. Side by side, the MR one performs better than KvD. Ulta runs good deals on their products most of the time, too.
ITA about MR -- their best, most original items never seem to make it to the US. We didn't even get their cute Easter egg collection! Same thing with Sleek -- for some reason their best, most interesting palettes never make it to Ulta. I still buy both brands direct from the UK most of the time. I really want to try the new MR Pro line (which replaces Freedom Makeup) -- some UK youtubers have been doing demos of the products and they look good!
I love liquid highlighter tho. It doesn't remove foundation for sure. I was scared of that but it sits on foundation really perfectly without pulling it. Idk, it works for me perfectly. I also have oily skin and it add any more oils. Maybe it's just me, but it's not oily and it doesn't pull foundation 😄
Thank goodness for Make up Revolution. I would never pay for Kat Von D shade and Light or pay the money a lot of makeup companies want and they're not going to lower their prices so knock off or not that's what some of us can afford and we get to enjoy colored pallets that we otherwise wouldn't get to have so I'm thankful makeup Revolution does what they do best
Yeah but it's good, only difference to me is that its a bit darker and isn't as full coverage as the tarte one. I have both and switch to revolution one so I don't run out of the tarte one as its like £22.

I’m the exact opposite on Morphe. the only palette of theirs that I thought was unique and not crap quality was the Jaclyn Hill. All of the other ones blended to be the same basic brown shade. I felt like I couldn’t get unique looks with them. Not to mention I can go to Ulta and get a MR palette for $7-$20 instead of having to pay shipping for Morphe (my local Ulta doesn’t carry Morphe).
You over there shading Revolution, but when they can dupe tf outta one of the most controversial palettes of the past year and get it right for a fraction of the cost and none of the bs and drama...😏

I use makeup revolution daily for shadows and highlight, even concealer now. They are one of the BEST drugstore brands here in the UK and can pack pigment so well now. I swear by them when I'm doing anyone's makeup e.g friends now.
The majority of my makeup cupboard is revolution and I’ve never ever had a problem with anything. I don’t understand how people have bad encounters with the brand Their highlighters are glowy af Their eyeshadows are creamy THEY’RE SETTING SPRAYS SMELL LIKE VANILLA And they overall have very good products as well as a skincare line! I think that they are very highly underrated in the states as they are very popular in the uk
I’m obsessed with make up revolution, it’s affordable enough so I can try new products which I normally couldn’t justify the price for. And they release new products at least twice a month. There fast base foundation is my holy grail drugstore foundation and there highlighters are gorgeous!
I love how this is a Makeup Revolution review but there's a $28 setting spray from another brand. It's great to see how great a product is that is so expensive. Sometimes it feels like some content creators don't realize that $30 is expensive for a setting spray for a lot of people. If I wanted to see that type of product, I wouldn't be watching a Makeup Revolution review.
I love Revolution Pro formally known as Makeup Revolution. They’ve allowed me to get dupes of high end Makeup at a price i can afford. I’ve ordered from TamBeauty and Ulta. And what i pay for a huge haul would be 1 or 2 of the higher end stuff. Don’t get me wrong, if i could afford higher end all the time, i would!

A lot of american youtubers unnecessarily bash makeup revolution by comparing it to high end brand products that aren't even intended to be dupes but just follow a trend, and those youtubers don't do that with other drugstore brands, so why with makeup revolution.

There is such a disconnect between what American RUclipsrs think of Makeup Revolution vs what British/Europeans do that I don't know if they have different formulas or something. Literally all of my eyeshadow palettes save a select few are Makeup Revolution, those highlighters? All over my face, nothing of that dragging the foundation business. I literally just pat it softly onto the skin and it blends beautifully. The concealer? Freaking AMAZING. I don't even know, is it only that you guys are biased because you're more likely to be promoted by the brands that they dupe or are the formulas genuinely different over there cause I don't get it, I just don't.

Tbh I hate that Makeup Revolution gets so much hate for the dupes. Like it’s very hard to be original nowadays since so many things have been done. I’m just grateful as not everyone can afford these high end expensive products and for makeup revolution to provide us with similar palettes at less than half the cost it’s great.

I have a lot of high end product and MUR as well and hand down, MUR is doing absolutely stunning job at making their products. Revolution do this because they know there is a lot of people out there, (like me) that can’t afford high end or more expensive makeup, but want us to get almost the same sort of feeling as high end, I’m a single mum I can’t afford to spend nearly £40 on the morphe Jaclyn hill palette, and I have more needed things to save my money towards, so revolution slays my life, I love them ( and you Tati lol) ❤️

Makeup Revolutions strong suit is their highlighters and face palettes (blush, bronzer and highlighter palettes) which doesn't dupe anything. Their new concealer is terrific also and their newer iconic eyeshadow palettes are fantastic. You shading them for "duping" high end brands is quite ridiculous, silly and foolish. A brand making affordable options for those that don't want to waste $50 on one product is a good thing. Every brand does it in every category. Have you never bought a store brand before? Target brand says right on packaging what its "compared" to. Nobody owns colors, so get over it. Not everyone wants to waste money on makeup that they can be saving for the future when you can buy the SAME Thing for a better cost. What you should be bothered by is these high end brands ridiculously over charging for a product that another brand can produce for a quarter of the price. High end company's are ripping people off, its obvious. If they don't want to worry about being copied mabe they should lower their price tag to where it should be...
Literally, makeup revolution follows trends and don't always necessarily intend on duping, also there is no such thing as unique colour combos when it comes to eyeshadow palettes anymore, so you are going to find many palettes throughout different brands with the same exact colour selection. Tati needs to stop bashing makeup revoltion based on this and talk about the quality.

I would much rather buy 4 or 5 or even more less expensive products for 40 pounds than one high end products.

Tati, before comparing Makeup Revolution palettes to the JH Morphe palette, remember that the JH Morphe palette is produced differently than other Morphe palettes! The cheaper 35 pan morphe palettes are a lot shittier.

Not if your buying from Australia. When you take shipping into account, that jh palette is close to $70 Aus. The MUR is $35 inc international shipping. I really like the jh palette, but that is how much an urban decay palette is here.

Bethany Chan i have a question. So my concealer is a shade or a shade and 1/2 lighter than my actual skin tone and makes my foundation a little lighter too. Is it still ok to wear or will i look like a ghost? Or what could i do to make it look better?
Gianna Toth If you are only using that concealer on the highlighting parts of your face (cheekbones, under eyes, center of forehead, bridge of nose) then that’s exactly what you want. If you feel like it’s blending too much into your foundation and making your whole face lighter, then use less concealer. As for powder, some brands and types just make you look pale or have flashback. That’s just something you’ll have to test with and see what works for you.
Yeah, I agree with Dwight about using the lighter concealer for highlighting your face if you're scared it's too light. Or if you want to balance it out, I'd use bronzer to give my face some dimension to not look like a ghost. Hope that helps?

I just love all makeup - I'll buy anything regardless of brand or price, I'll try anything. As a former owner of the original Huda Rose Gold palette and now the Remastered version, I can confirm that MUR Chocolate Rose Gold palette is better than the pair of them! Yes they do a hell of a lot of dupes but some of them can actually be better than the original. I've heard the same things said about their Mint Chocolate palette compared to the Subculture palette, though I don't have either of those as a shade range doesn't appeal.

*Tati, I was really hoping that you were going to share their new Fast Base Foundation Stick since I am totally in love with it!* I like it better than the Makeup Forever HD Stick and also the Hourglass so if you guys get the chance to pick it up, do it! I did a video on it a couple of weeks ago and it’s just so natural looking, feels amazing on my skin and gives flawless coverage. Their colors are the exact match of their concealers so finding your shade is a no brained too.
They also have another highlighter trio that’s stunning as well and the packaging on it is so pretty. Please do a review though on this foundation so that everyone can see how good it is but in the mean time they can go watch mine if you’d like.
Yeah, that's what I was waiting for too! I'll watch your's now - but completely unrelated to you - I've seen so many reviews where the product was beyond hyped, way too harsh lighting, no follow ups, etc...I can't trust someone that keeps going on about how great every single product is, I just want a good honest review. And I really trust Tati with that. We might not see eye to eye on every product but she shares her honest views and that's valuable to me.
I got the makeup stick today, it highlighted all my textured skin and didn't cover redness or spots. It's fine if you've got perfect skin like Tati but for a normal human being it's not great

I’m extremely honest in my reviews and you’ll see in many of my videos I’ve talked about my new love affair with the Fast Base Stick! lol Just to let you know my skin is normal to dry and I can get a bit oily in my T zone later in the day. I’m 57 and this doesn’t settle into my fine lines and wrinkles either. I use Tati’s favorite pore primer, the Tarte Timeless smoothing powder too along with the Touch in Sol No POREblem primer. I just love how creamy this is and it covers everything with one layer. I also like full to a high medium cover for my foundation as well.
I hope that helps you understand where I’m at as far as my preference for a foundation but I was blown away by this foundation!
Did you use a pore minimizing primer with it Lydia? I do and I don’t have any problems with it showing any texture. I also have redness in my skin and it covers up perfectly for me.
This just goes to show how a foundation can be so good for one person and not for another.
i know that makeup revolution does copy A LOT of brands but their products are totally worth the money and they make dupes because not EVERYONE can afford 49$/50$ morphe products .. and at the end of the day what really matters is THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT, so i will definitly go for a dupe Which Is Of Good Quality rather than spending millions on makeup ;)
Um, SO MANY BRANDS MAKE DUPES. Not just MR. Why is this so bad? And honestly, Revolution (that's their name now, not makeup revolution) may have similar looking items, but I think it's just a coincidence. And they're my favourite brand - they have soooo many amazing products and they're affordable. So yeah.

The foundation stick is bad if you have texture on your skin, it highlights all your imperfections, doesn't really dry down even with a powder, and isn't full enough coverage to cover spots and redness.
Pro has sooooo many new palettes! I would love to know how they perform.
I love my makeup revolution cream blush palette(because I have dry skin), and I also enjoy my Soph X eyeshadow palette because it's pretty good for the price. Your input on brands and products always means the world to me Tati! Thank you for all of your hard work to make sure we get the most bang for our buck!

All drugstore brands are basically “knock offs” as you call them, so people who cannot afford the higher end brands can still try to achieve the looks that they want.

Well that's a really heavy discussion, something people, work really, really hard in the creation of a product, make the art, the concept, the formula, and the a company like makeup revolution comes and launch "dupes" that are essentially, the same but lower quality, so yes, is not fair. Don't get me wrong, I don't have the money for the originals, but I wouldn't use it in a "dupe" like that
people think it's just bad cuz companies are making money off of copies and aren't original and the companies they copy from could be losing money, but i'm completely with you. I'm going to spend $45-$50 on something i can get for half that, that possibly works a lot better.

Some people can't justify spending a ridiculous amount of money on expensive makeup, so I think MUR is a great brand, I personally think you're being really petty and stuck-up.
I like the MUR highlight drops more than the cover fx ones 😍 they don’t move my foundation around at all, just as blinding and they’re much easier to work with. And that price too 👌🏼

First off, many of MR's original products never make it ti the US. I love MOST of Makeup Revolution's items, but they really are copies'. When Kat von D went super crazy over the Eye Contour palette, I knew they were on to something especially if she couldn't ignore it. Side by side, the MR one performs better than KvD. Ulta runs good deals on their products most of the time, too.

ITA about MR -- their best, most original items never seem to make it to the US. We didn't even get their cute Easter egg collection! Same thing with Sleek -- for some reason their best, most interesting palettes never make it to Ulta. I still buy both brands direct from the UK most of the time. I really want to try the new MR Pro line (which replaces Freedom Makeup) -- some UK youtubers have been doing demos of the products and they look good!

I love liquid highlighter tho. It doesn't remove foundation for sure. I was scared of that but it sits on foundation really perfectly without pulling it. Idk, it works for me perfectly. I also have oily skin and it add any more oils. Maybe it's just me, but it's not oily and it doesn't pull foundation 😄

Thank goodness for Make up Revolution. I would never pay for Kat Von D shade and Light or pay the money a lot of makeup companies want and they're not going to lower their prices so knock off or not that's what some of us can afford and we get to enjoy colored pallets that we otherwise wouldn't get to have so I'm thankful makeup Revolution does what they do best
You should definitely shop around MUR. They have some great products. Foundations and consealer.... pressed powders... lipsticks ect

I got the concealer and it really is comparable to the tarte shape tape concealer.

Yeah but it's good, only difference to me is that its a bit darker and isn't as full coverage as the tarte one. I have both and switch to revolution one so I don't run out of the tarte one as its like £22.
sarah xx of course. My comment was in relation to people saying it’s ‘just as good’ ‘comparable’ or ‘better than shape tape’. It isn’t. Obviously I can see from your other comment you like the Revolution one which is fabulous, I hate it and would never repurchase, but if it works for you that’s great.
Jaclyn hill pallet is the kind of good pallet that once you buy it you never use your other pallets I am obsessed with it!!

I think Makeup Revolution is a great brand. I would rather use makeup rev. Over some high end products. You can afford to spend all the money in the world, some of us can’t. For the price they have great stuff at Makeup Revolution
I’m the exact opposite on Morphe. the only palette of theirs that I thought was unique and not crap quality was the Jaclyn Hill. All of the other ones blended to be the same basic brown shade. I felt like I couldn’t get unique looks with them. Not to mention I can go to Ulta and get a MR palette for $7-$20 instead of having to pay shipping for Morphe (my local Ulta doesn’t carry Morphe).

You over there shading Revolution, but when they can dupe tf outta one of the most controversial palettes of the past year and get it right for a fraction of the cost and none of the bs and drama...😏
I love it when she is describing her eyeshadow looks and says that she uses the color "right next door" to another. Every time I hear her say that I smile, and I'm like "only Tati" 😘😗
I use makeup revolution daily for shadows and highlight, even concealer now. They are one of the BEST drugstore brands here in the UK and can pack pigment so well now. I swear by them when I'm doing anyone's makeup e.g friends now.
The majority of my makeup cupboard is revolution and I’ve never ever had a problem with anything. I don’t understand how people have bad encounters with the brand
Their highlighters are glowy af
Their eyeshadows are creamy
THEY’RE SETTING SPRAYS SMELL LIKE VANILLA
And they overall have very good products as well as a skincare line! I think that they are very highly underrated in the states as they are very popular in the uk

I’m obsessed with make up revolution, it’s affordable enough so I can try new products which I normally couldn’t justify the price for. And they release new products at least twice a month. There fast base foundation is my holy grail drugstore foundation and there highlighters are gorgeous!
I love how this is a Makeup Revolution review but there's a $28 setting spray from another brand. It's great to see how great a product is that is so expensive. Sometimes it feels like some content creators don't realize that $30 is expensive for a setting spray for a lot of people. If I wanted to see that type of product, I wouldn't be watching a Makeup Revolution review.

I love Revolution Pro formally known as Makeup Revolution. They’ve allowed me to get dupes of high end Makeup at a price i can afford. I’ve ordered from TamBeauty and Ulta. And what i pay for a huge haul would be 1 or 2 of the higher end stuff. Don’t get me wrong, if i could afford higher end all the time, i would!
