I think it did help, or at least helped him see how I see him. It wasn't enough to stop the consequences of his trouble, it was already too late, and now, let's just say, that scene of Barry talking to Snart through a certain kind of "glass" really hits home. I have another video of Snart, or maybe it's this one, where Heatwave says, "you're a hero to me. you're the best guy I ever knew." my brother said it sounded like our older brother's voice but i said it was what i wanted to say hahaha. have you seen Wentworth's facebook? He posts the most INSPIRATIONAL stuff. Love love love him.
thank you! it's deeply personal for me because snart reminds me of my brother and i'm a lot like sara, and my brother got into some serious trouble, and i was the only one that could get through to him IF he would even let anyone, so i made this to show to him what i couldn't verbalize, before it was too late. and i don't mean he's dead or anything, he's just....away, no access to computers lol. i tried so hard to save him, he's my little brother, and i tried a bunch of different snart videos to convey what i wanted to say to him, but then i remembered this song, and realized- perfect fit for what i couldn't figure out how to communicate. so because of the personal nature it holds to me, it's always AMAZING when other people love it too :)
Leonard Snart.. always has been, always will be, my favorite DC character. I loved how they portrayed him in the shows compared to the comics. He has always been the anti-hero. But could also be just as good as hero
I was so pissed when he died in DC legends. Because I thought they would pull some time travel shit and bring him back. Which he did show up as an enemy because one of the villains grabbed snarts younger self. But he was never brought back to the team so they kept Snart dead for the entire series.

I made this about my younger brother, he was going through a really really rough time, as were the rest of us (our family, because of him), and he reminds me of Snart so much so we joke all the time that he's captain cold and i'm white canary, and I was able to put this together and show it to him right before he had to go away for a while, and I doubt he remembers the sentiment behind it, probably just that I made it about/for him, but it's always heartwarming when it touches other people as well- because this video in particular is really personal to me and holds a very special, unique place in my heart
and I ALWAYS cry when I watch it haha because everything comes flooding back- why I made it, when I showed my brother, etc. And things haven't changed much, although he IS headed towards the "legend" snart direction, finally :)
