Thank you very much for watching my video! Hope you liked it! What kind of food/restaurants are you interested in Thailand? Where should I go eat next? Buffet? Mall food court? Hidden gem?

When I went to the Chatuchak weekend market, there is a Thai restaurant near the bank. I love their shrimp pancakes, fried rice inside a pineapple etc.

    IKEAはたまに行きます😊
    ジャムが付いたミートボールやサーモンのサラダを食べます、安くて味も悪くはないですねー😊👍

That is awesome. Does Japan IKEA have any unique items on their menu?

HEJ! Such a fun video - even more so given I am sitting here in Schweeeden! So interesting to see regional interpretations across some of their classic dishes and it seems as though they did a good job of it. Slipping the meatballs in as the protein in khao soi was particularly playful...but the massaman chicken looks most up my street! I am also a big lingonberry fan. We pick them in the forest when they are in season to turn them into sauces and preserves that take us through the rest of the year when we are without. Classic Swedish meatballs are also on monthly rotation at our house!

Wow, that is so cool. Yes, IKEA was very creative with their foods and the quality was really good. We had a fun time making this episode!

Yes, meatballs are dangerously delicious. And I saw they had meatball sub sandwiches in their mini food court after the registers. Just so you know for your next trip to Bangkok. 😋

I’m Swedish, and it makes me so sad to see these bastardised versions of Swedish food 😢 Meatballs should be served with mashed potatoes, cream sauce, lingonberries and pickled cucumber. Salmon is served with potatoes and fish roe, sour cream and dill sauce. Cheese cake is American, not Swedish. Pathetic.

I thought they were fun interpretations of the original menu thoughtfully crafted in a way that represents the store’s Bangkok location in a similar way that other global chains incorporate regional variations onto their menus. IKEA’s classic meatball dish and other more ‘traditional’ items are also available on the menu but they were not the focus of this video.

Sorry you felt that way. Understandably, a lot of large corporations make different variations of their menus for the international market. You'll see Mc'Donalds bulgogi burger in Korea or teriyaki burger in Japan. I think you may enjoy it if you give it a chance. But thank you so much for commenting.
