36:47 this one is literally called "My First Troll Course". I love how every time Simple goes into a japanese level its always titled something bullshit but he has no way of knowing
31:15 Simple made a great decision not playing this 8 minute Ghost House because it's SO dumb So, when you begin the level, you enter the Subworld. Both the Overworld and Subworld have 3 versions of the same room. Subworld 1 is the room you enter in the pipe at the start. Both doors will lead to Subworld 2. Subworld 2 is the same room, except Buzzy Beetles come out of the center pipe. Subworld 3 cannot be accessed from either of these 2 rooms. If you enter the pipe in Subworld 2, you get taken back to the Overworld. We'll call this first overworld room Overworld 1. One thing to note is that it IS possible to distinguish the Overworld rooms. The blocks around the icicle in 2 of the Overworld rooms contain 1-Ups. However, there's a 3rd Overworld room where this isn't the case, Overworld 3. Overworld 3 also has the flagpole hidden in the ice blocks. In Overworld 1, take the door on the left and you go to Overworld 2. Take the door on the left again, and you'll be in Overworld 3. However, if you take the pipe in Overworld 2, you access Subworld 3. Subworld 3 is a room where Yoshi can come out of the center pipe. The Yoshis are never required, but they're probably how you're supposed to transport Buzzy Beetles across rooms, and reach the POW Blocks. Which, by the way, only seem to be useful in Overworld 3. If you take the pipe in Overworld 3, you get taken to a fake recreation of the beginning of the level. So, here's a guide: You start in Subworld 1, go to Subworld 2, take the Buzzy Beetle from that area, take Subworld 2's pipe to Overworld 1, go to the door on the right for easy access to Overworld 3, break the brick blocks in Overworld 3 with the shell, trigger both POW Blocks (I personally used the shell to break one POW Block, and used the Fire Flowers to damage boost to the 2nd), then use the Bob-Ombs in Overworld 3 that exit from the pipe on the right that used to be blocked by Munchers, and finally, blow up the ice blocks and win. The Sasuke level I thought really caught the essence of it. To those who don't know what that's referencing, Sasuke goes by the name "Ninja Warrior" here in the states. It's a game show based on kinda crazy physical feats. The initial stepping stones and perhaps a reference to the watermill steps were captured in the first two challenges. However, I kinda popped off when I saw the noteblock walls that could have been referencing the infamous spider climb, and seeing the springs immediately made me think of the trampoline into the net grab. And then the final task... obviously that was the warped wall. Even hitting the button at the end to clock the time triggered some good memories from the show. That level made me think of all the years of watching with my family. Shoutouts to Shingo Yamamoto for being best girl of the show for all those years.
"Shingo Yamamoto" "best girl" Hold up. I get that's the joke but still. Also this is more faithful than just what you've described. If you feel like catching up there are plenty of sources, though... Not many official ones...
That sasuke level was extremely faithful to the source material, such a cool level
17:09 I cannot stop laughing. This phrase is now a part of my vocabulary.
Can someone please explain to me what he did at 11:10 to make toadette hit left of him? New to SMM and don't recall seeing something like that in controls lmao
37:58 Todette hatched a hella big plan
Hearing Simple say "because you're worth it" honestly made my day. And I just woke up. Thank you Mr Flips
I loved the video a lot. thank you for all the comforting videos. Thank you for the bonus. I would love more uncleared. It is my favorite.
31:54 “this is gonna haunt my nightmares” literally every uncleared level ever.

This has to be the most unsatisfying moment in all of Sinpleflip's gaming experience.
The slime climb level only gives every player one chance in multiplayer since the hidden blocks would block re-entry, so it's only really possible in single player unless you have 4 gods playing multiplayer
I've never seen anyone ever die via note block before and then Simple goes ahead and does it twice in a row. What a god.
SAF (Straight Adult Freedom)
Wetstreak: 18
why am i missing so many of these
Loving the TTYD bg music very much, x naut fortress would be rad if it hasn't happened already. sick jellyfish hoodie btw i'd wear that
how is there microphone floating like that. and they never once explain it. in the entire video

Really great self portrait :)
this is the best mm2 video that simple has ever made, I come back and watch it at least twice a month, with Tesco as a close second.

Absolutely No One:
Little Timmy in the Mario Maker editor: SUFFER
You said, "one of the levels you can't beat in singleplayer" but you can beat every level in singleplayer, there is no co-op level check
it's nice when youtubers randomly stumble onto levels created for different youtubers.
Rip Plussies, btw
In a level like that propeller suit one, the best thing to do is leave a comment in the stage exactly where the bullshit solution is
What is that "rutsu" word I keep hearing Simp say all the time? I never hear anyone else say it and I still can't figure out what it means.
it's a quote from the infamous Streets Agent 1:12 Goldeneye speedrun video: "Me and Marc Rutzou [are the only ones with this time]"
@@pete1318 Oh! I've seen this video! So Mark Rutzou is the first guy to get 1:12 before the inspirational dude lol
ive been really enjoying the paper mario ttyd music its a nice touch
also after you cleared that horrible space level i felt like i had whiplash when you had normal movement again
really threw me for a loop i cant believe brainwashing is real
34:00 I just realized that was Slime Climb from Drop Dudes
I really enjoy long videos like this one, keep it up my dude.
Figured I’d put this here because I think there’s a chance you see this and that makes me feel like it’s worth typing this out.
First off you make my laugh and smile a lot, your banter and the way you word some things just gets an humour itch, and I really appreciate that. Thank you
My grandfather in-law is dying of brain cancer and we knew it was coming eventually but it is all going down hill pretty fast. Sometimes he’s himself and other times he’s not himself. It sucks a lot, this being on top of really really bad depression. I thank COVID for not being able to keep myself super busy and distracted from my thought life.
I already miss his dry humour and wheel of fortune after every dinner with them. back in high school I ditched a lot of school and him and my grandma live close to the school so I would come hangout and do work around their house.
He means a lot. To all of my family.
Your videos never fail to make me laugh and I am in the process of watching through the walkies episodes I missed. You and your editors make it all a little better, thanks Simple🙂.
Damn dude. My condolences. I wish you and your family the best.
❤
propeller level's description is "Where is the propeller?"
title is "mm? How do I do it?"
24:24 That level reminds me of a level in the "Story Mode" just at night
