Pain of ALL kinds can be traced back to hip imbalances, which create instability in the pelvis and spine. Like: plantar fasciitis, knee pain, hip pain, low back pain, sciatica, mid back pain, shoulder pain, neck pain, tension headaches and more. Usually it's the compensations for the instability that are the cause of pain (at a tissue and structural level), but to solve it for good you need to rebalance your hips and get your deep core muscles activated if they've been "offline" or inhibited. Get off the hamster wheel of pain management and get back to living 😃 Join the 2021 session of Solving Pelvic Instability here 👉 bit.ly/3AYmckH
You are so wise!!! And have helped me more than doctors, physical therapists and chiropractors! It took seeing my physical therapist for a MONTH for them to realize my hips were out of balance, they were having me do exercises that were causing massive flare ups and I felt like something was missing big time. You offered the whole thing… I want to take your course! And I’m thankful to at least have the exercises from physical therapy but they don’t address or educate or inform you in the ways we actually need to heal. It’s one piece of many parts. But you really address all areas. Thank you. I truly think because of you I’ll Be able to do what I love again and have seen so much progress since consistently doing your videos! Now it’s time for your course!
"You can't just strengthen an inhibited muscle." Yes! Thank you! I took this course last year and really learned a lot. Many times I have tried to throw myself into exercise, thinking it would solve my pain issues. But despite my efforts, my pain has only gotten worse. I do have some extra health issues that complicate my physical health. But I am finding my way out of painful compensation patterns because I am learning to listen to my body and retrain it out of unhealthy habits. I would definitely recommend Elisha's class!
Lisa - thank you! I so appreciate your endorsement of the course here. You inspire my with your dedication to finding those root causes and learning to listen to your body. 💛
I know I’m late in seeing this but I want you to know that your coverage of this particular problem area might just save my life (or at least my mobility and perhaps my sanity). I cannot thank you enough!
Thank you so much 🙏🏼 I did decide to allow ads to play before my videos, but I won't put them in the middle of the videos. I hardly make any money from them, but it's more a gesture to the universe that I'm open to receiving support for my work.
Watched pelvic instability video masterclass and did some shiatsu-type pressure point manipulation last night. I have no training. It helped so much with the leg pain i´ve been suffering from for a long time (self diagnosed piriformis)l . I did it because i dont know when i will manage to get to a sports masseuse. Or if i will be able to do your course. Thank you so much for this pioneering work. I have fallen arches, bunions, weak leg muscles, can’t step high, have had a bad back, can’t lie with my legs flat, can’t even ride a bike. Night cramps too. Yes, strong fears of not belonging and not being safe. I hobble like an old hag. Oh and spider veins mostly on one leg. Some arthritis in spine and hip and hands. I’ve got to do something about all of this. I dont trust my doctor to take things seriously.
some serious knowledge bombs dropped right here... thank you and god bless you elisha, youre helping so much wit my FAI. thanks for this free information and content!!
30 seconds in and you covered all my symptoms 😮 I do actually need a hip replacement but was wondering where the leg pains were coming from 🤔 Can't wait to watch the rest 😊
I wanted to share this for anyone with hip pain and Anterior pelvic tilt: I was looking a my side-on reflection, seeing what it looked like to be in APT vs normal alignment. I could see that if I was in APT and tried to clench my butt, it was physically impossible to activate my glutes properly. Try it yourself! It was so helpful because for me I really need to understand something in order to commit to doing it. Now whenever I walk I consciously correct my APT and it’s really helped reduce the pain in my hip (where the TFL was being recruited because the glute medius couldn’t be properly activated).
I am in love with you!! PT helped a bit but pain kept going to new places. Everything you are saying makes sense. I will be following and doing what you say!!
I am now doing the yoga block fascia release and the tennis ball. I eagerly await more to do because these are helping. Once the adductor fascia released, then the hips hurt, now the SI joint is in play, and I think it all goes back to a psoas injury in 2018. But no PT has helped.
Oh gosh! I am so greatfull for this video. For years i have felt my fascia over my right hip stretched so tightly for about 3 to 7 days per month. Im staying hydrated but havent done anything to fix it …yet. Doctors at the Mayo Clinic took a bone spur out but thats kind of the only thing ive had, and strength training from physical therapists which only goes so far like you say. Thanks for this video because i know i have repeat injuries in that part of my body so a ton of scar tissue. I have a lot of work to do but it feels good to have this resource.
If you’re thinking of doing this course, I would say to go for it! I did Elisha’s 101 course in 2018 and it was some of the best money I’ve ever spent. I was able to solve my low back and hip pain that had baffled numerous chiropractors and massage therapists. I have subsequently saved hundreds and hundreds of ££ 🇬🇧 on therapy appointments. Elisha’s teaching allows you to see the whole picture and pattern of how your body came to be in pain, and provides real, practical tools that empower you to take control back. Elisha is a world class health specialist and I’m so grateful that she shared her profound wisdom and understanding with me.
Catherine! THANK YOU!!! 😍🤗🥰 What an unexpected joy to read this from you! I'm so glad we met and that you have benefitted from what you learned with me in all these ways.
Hi Elisha, thank you for this video. It’s essentially described what my body’s going through at this time. I am trying to look for the link to this course on how i may improve hip imbalance. Is it still available and where can I find it?
Hi Michele - unfortunately, I've archived the course forever. This is for a few reasons: 1) I've stopped teaching self fascia release to focus on teaching my in person method called Kinetix that involves stepping on people (which is far more effective), and 2) because after 4 years of teaching that course and over 600 people going through it, I know it is not sufficient to help people resolve their pain completely. Chronic pain is almost always rooted in unhealed traumas and/or incomplete stress responses (getting stuck in fight/flight/freeze), and this course did not help people address those issues deeply enough for them to see complete resolution. My other courses - Mind Body Breakthrough and Lose Your Fear of Pan - have helped hundreds of people eliminate their pain without even doing fascia release. In case you want more info on those courses: www.thehumanfreedomproject.com/
QUESTION! Could pelvic instability be causing my Glutes etc to be switched off, (from repeated falls on same side), and cause my rear end to become REALLY FLAT? No butt! FLAT BUTT!..(?)
I have all those symptoms or problems unbelievable and I become worse since I was hospitalized and unable to walk because I had an infection on my feet because pain before was so bad I need to put my feet on cold water because the pain and burning on my feet was so bad I couldn’t sleep for a while. Nice to attend your video iam also suffering from many Mascular issues like lower back pain also stiffness of upper back and chest can u suugest me some specific exercises to come out from these phy
Over two months ago now during exercise, I went to jump my legs apart and was shocked to notice right hip lumpy and completely different to left hip which looked normal. I don’t know when this happened. Last Year I had a perforated appendix which had felt like a bad back for at least two years but professionals said my back was fine. After operation, back pain disappeared so it was my appendix after all. But this hip thing looks weird. I’m working to even up and strengthen weaker side. Is it instability or what do you think? No pain at all now since operation, thank goodness. Slight curve in spine to left apparently and shorter right leg, I’m told. Would your course help this imbalance?
It's hard for me to say without knowing more, but one leg being "longer" than the other is usually a sign of a hip imbalance. Most people don't actually have a longer leg (unless it was measured via x-ray), it just looks that way because one hip is hiked up while another is being pulled down due to soft tissue (muscle and fascia) imbalances. I'm glad to hear you're not in pain! And yes, this course would help balance out your hips/legs and help with the spine curve. If you have any other questions, let me know. 😊
Thank you for your work on RUclips! I went to sign up for master class and it’s closed... I’ve been doing pelvic release exercises and pelvic floor and overall pelvic strengthening work to resolve recurring plantar fasciitis after watching your video about root causes of PF pain... gosh baby steps... this feels like layers of an onion for sure... did have big tail bone injury freshman year in college in 1988!!! I've started exercising slowly with yoga (hatha/yin) for gentle strength training and also foam rolling. I have really tight quads. Any other suggestions. Btw love your videos. You explain things so well.
This video gave the best suggestions I have, if you watch all the way through. Which is to find the fascial imbalances (differences in tightness/density) left to right and front to back in your legs, and then balance yourself out. I have some ideas of what might be happening with you based on what you shared, but I don't offer individual recommendations publicly here in the RUclips comments, since I don't have your injury/medical info and I'm not a doctor. I do offer Zoom consultations, and I feel confident that the course I'm opening right now would definitely be able to help you solve this. Or you could explore my free content and see where it takes you 😊
YES - it is 100% possible to DIY this and resolve your own pain. This is what I do with my courses, and I also offer Zoom consultations if you'd prefer 1-1 support. But this course I'm opening right now (called Solving Pelvic Instability) is a strategic approach to helping you solve hip imbalances and core muscles that might be inhibited (not activating), which can cause all kinds of pain in the body. I have people join my online courses from all over the world 😊
Hi :) I no longer teach this course like I did before (as a 5 week course). The only way to access it is inside my online coaching community, called The Kinetix Academy. There are other courses and resources inside the Academy, but the focus of the community is on live monthly coaching calls with me, live workshops, live community calls, monthly challenges etc that allow everyone to do this healing work in a supportive community. The reason I don't teach this course the way did before is that it most people in this pelvic instability/chronic pain scenario have overlapping, complex patterns involving the nervous system, incomplete stress responses (being stuck in fight/flight/freeze/fawn), fascia imbalances/restrictions, and in many cases, unhealed childhood trauma. A few weeks is not enough to untangle and break free of all these patterns. And people generally need a lot of support. Which is why I created my ongoing coaching community. I'll be opening the Kinetix Academy again in September. If it sounds like something you might be interested in, you can get on the waitlist here: kinetix.academy/join/
@@nomade438 - I'm not sure why the page won't load for you, it's working for most people (it's an active wait list with people who have put their names on the list). Maybe try another browser? If you have pop up blockers that could be why. Otherwise, please email info@elishaceleste.com and ask to be put on the email list, and my assistant will make sure you're subscribed.
Very insightful but I wish you had added a general follow along exercises piece or myofascia release then if someone liked it they could deep dive in there course. I watch the video - was disappointed
My belief is that osteoarthritis is a symptom of the body's inability to regenerate at a cellular level. Inflammation is the body's attempt to isolate an area that needs blood in order to regenerate. There are many ways to help the body regenerate, thereby reversing arthritis. But I am not a doctor, and this isn't medical advice. I always encourage people to do their own research and come to their own conclusions.
Do you think it's possible to benefit from this course even if we can't joing the Zoom sessions? I've been hovering around it for a while because of the (fair, don't get me wrong!) price just because of my personal economic situation but I do have longstanding problems all on the side of the glute that I know isn't firing for sure. I have been doing exercises to engage that glute but O always feel the other one... butting in! Would you believe it? Even a crab walk with theraband has my strong glute work more even on the side that should engage the weaker one. I've also been having pain on that side's shoulder for years and physio always told me they felt the other side as tighter. And aster a few years the side of the knee on that side started hurting a fair bit, which really makes your comment on the body gradually dialling up its message to get us to listen. (And TMI: when I had a child the nurse was bewildered because I tore all on that side, rather than more centrally, and that's the side where I get more period pain. )
Yes, I do believe the course would benefit you even if you can't attend the Zoom calls. The course content itself is all pre-recorded video that you can watch on your own time, and it's broken down into 5 weeks of strategic knowledge and skill building, where you'll watch that week's content and know what to do from an implementation perspective, and then build on those skills the following week. If you put in the effort to watch the course videos and do the homework each week, you'll definitely find answers and know how to solve this for good. People's results are 100% based on whether or not they follow through with what they're learning. So if you're a self-starter and just need a little guidance, this is a great course. Some people are better suited to working 1-1 with someone in a live setting.
@@GraceKanedesign - can you please email info@mobilitymastery.com, and let me know whether you registered for the free masterclass OR if you joined my paid course, Solving Pelvic Instability? That way I can look into this and get you the right information :)

@@ElishaCeleste That sounds good to me! Thanks!
Hi, thanks for sharing your expertise :)
I've check my spam etc - I've not recieved any email response yet from you.
Hi Grace - happy to help. Did you register for the free masterclass or the course (Solving Pelvic Instability)?
Yep, I did ;)
@@GraceKanedesign - can you please email info@mobilitymastery.com, and let me know whether you registered for the free masterclass OR if you joined my paid course, Solving Pelvic Instability? That way I can look into this and get you the right information :)
Is this course still available?
It's not - I've stopped teaching self fascia release, so all of my old blogs/classes/courses have been archived. I do have other courses available, and I also offer online consultations. If interested, please email info@elishaceleste.com for more info
