I have never bought slag glass just because I thought it looked fake but after listening to this, I will be giving it a second look!
I know you did cast iron as in cooking pots and pans but I'm an interested in you doing cast iron as in banks and door stops especially how to tell an original from a reproduction.

Very interesting lesson today!👍👍👍👍 Some is so pretty! I do like the purple, and brown....the lamps are amazing!! How can we tell the difference between the real thing and lucite or a painted glass? Reports can be very convincing 🥺 I'd like to see a show on the difference between good glass and crystal! How to tell, and what kinds of prices? I have some antique lead crystal glasses.....thanks! And take care!😊😊👍👍👍😘

Hi I actually never heard of slag glass til you mentioned it last week....so definitely learned something new today! I like the multicolor ones....some beautiful pieces....two color....I love the purple and white. EBay sellers will just love you bc like I said I never heard of it but will definitely be checking the EBay listings❣️🌟 This is off topic but I noticed the table to your left today ( don’t know if it’s been there or new to your set but I have a Mediterranean style table my parents bought in the 70’s and the slate top is really thick like one and a half to 2 inches and then there is the great storage....I have the square one two....made their way to many rooms over my 39 year marriage....they don’t make them like that anymore!! Thank you for sharing....always look forward to your videos! 😊kim

Does it have a slate top? I see black just wondering.....I know mine are at least 48 years old (or few more) I see many furniture flippers on RUclips painting these style tables....but haven’t seen any others with the massive beautiful polished slate tops!? To go with them my parents bought a white velvet rolled arm low back sofa.....all the rage in new furnishings....so funny to see everything from that era coming back. Wonder if earth shoes or pet rocks will make a come back....Yikes!😱 lol

I really appreciate how you show the trademarks because I’m still learning. I found a green slag glass piece that could be used to hold jewelry or coins on the bathroom counter and a friend bought it from me and I think I made $20 profit! 🤗💖✅

Hi, so I have a few comments 😁.....love the series! I was in NW Ohio last week and went to some antique stores/malls and they were fantastic. I started seeing things I had learned about on your videos. Like blow molds.....saw 5 or 6 Christmas ones and even an Easter bunny! I saw a lot of hens on baskets (wish I had already seen your 101 video on those). I also saw many glass slippers, the small ones. One sales lady pointed out that some had a cat on the top of some. I don’t know what their purpose really was for though or which would be most collectible so I decided to hold off on getting any. Now, when I got home I checked and old decanter set an friend had given me MANY years ago that had been in her family. It is green with gold and hand painted flowers on the decanter and glasses. I tried researching it and came up with similar example called Bohemian glass or Czech glass. There was also Murano glass that looked similar. There really wasn’t any marking on the bottom of the decanter, so quite curious about it now. Thanks so much.....keep the videos coming. 😀

Hi I live in Oklahoma and my father was a rock collector he passed 4 years ago and left me with lots of stones that I know now it's slag glass stones there are so many of them in every color I really want to get rid of it. Can anybody help me find a buyer I don't know much of anything about slag glass just what I have searched on the web. I have small pieces and very large and heavy pieces as well in green blues gold purple there are some that have different colors mixed in they are very beautiful I just don't have room in my home or back yard for them.
