This wasn't an easy repair but I was able to do it by pateintly going slow. Cable refused to move and I discovered it kinked in two places. Ended up replacing the cable completely and it works like it's supposed to. This time I invested in some rust inhibitor to stop the cable from completely rusting over like it will do.
Bad camera work. Got to the end of the snake but found no screw to connect the new snake. The camera did not show the drum attachment to the snake. Is the snake actually attached to the drum? Why would you need a screw to attach to the new snake
I am trying to repair my Populo drain cleaner, same as the one you show here, but it wont come apart. Is there any hidden screws? Your video goes by so fast I can't really see it in detail.
This is what I am trying to do, but the screws will not move. My screwdriver (Populo sent me the link to make sure I got the right one) just strips them, as none of them budge.
Ouch stripped screws are the worst. From my experience it's because you're using an imperfectly matching sized head and not exerting enough downward pressure white turning. Problem is once it's strips, they are very difficult to remove.
thanks , just what i needed, took several tries but i finally got it

Seat the screwdriver into the screw and bang it with a hammer (fairly hard) to break whatever seal has formed with the plastic, then try again...
